What an inspiration! I'm coming up on my 1 year mark and it's a breath of fresh air to read about someone who is so much farther out and having such success! Thank you for checking in! Wishing you continued success in maintenance :)

What an amazing and honest story! Congratulations! I am 2 1/2 years out and can relate to all of what you are saying ( well maybe not the heavy duty bicycling). It's always work, but if we stay focused and committed, we will be healthy for life.

Thank you for posting!  It really is inspirational and very helpful to us under a year out!  I too started bike riding and right now I'm up to 1.5 miles for about 10 min. for each bike ride...slowly but surely the turtle wins the race!  Congrats on living life on your terms!

Thanks so much for posting this motivating story!  I'm still pre-op, and need to read how it is from a veteran. I've often wondered if I'll have enough energy for good workouts post-op. It's good to know you're doing so well!  Please don't be a stranger here!  I'd love to hear from you again!

Relations on your three years! I am really interested in that anti-inflammatory diet you were using or are currently using I'm having the same problem going up and down up and down and I am two and half years out. Is there a website or meal plan that you subscribe to that I would have the opportunity to look at? Once again congratulations!

Sorry for the delay.  The diet is called "TQI"--for "To Quiet Inflammation".  There is a book for the diet called "The Abascal Way".   I'm don't follow all the principles, but it is super healthy!!
