Very scheduled life

Pre-op, if I had more than 2-3 things going on in a week I would be annoyed at how busy I was!  Now, in my almost 7th week of post-op life, I have 2-3 things scheduled every single day and I'm loving it.  I'm going to the gym, I'm going to mental therapy, I have singing stuff, I have physical therapy, I have outings with friends, and I'm going to start taking a bunch of fitness classes at the local community college.  It's GREAT.  Yet another change in my life I had no ability to predict.

(I'm a childfree homemaker so my schedule during the daytime is largely my own to fill.)

Very cool! Isn't it amazing how much more energy and "go-get-'em-ness" is available post op?? I have definitely noticed that I want to get out more over the last several months. It took me quite a while after surgery to feel like I had enough energy to get out and about, but now that I do, I can't sit still some days!

Also... How does one sign up to be a child free homemaker? Can I please put in an application for that??

It's amazing!  I want to do ALL THE THINGS now and a day when I have nothing scheduled I feel so strange and unproductive.  Even today when I had a few free hours in the middle of the day I found myself chomping at the bit to get to the next thing.  (So I ended up getting to my choir concert an hour early - lol.)

I also find that I'm waking up 1-2 hours earlier than I did pre-op, so I've got more time every day to do things!

That's awesome! I've been walking everyday since my surgery on 24th. I can't wait to get back into a gym!
