What would you order from this menu?
I love butter and haven't made any attempt at avoiding fat in my post-op life. (Can't get much of it anyway!) Asking for the gravy on the side sounds like a good idea!

I think those meatballs are the clear winner here. :D

I'd go for the Irish meatballs, gravy on the side.
I'd also go for the buffalo chicken sub, but ask for the grilled chicken, and see if you can have it without the bread. Order a veg for the side.
The French onion soup without the bread on top and no cheese (or only eat half the cheese) is another option.
If you like mussels, that's another good option.
And I'm with you on the pulled pork sandwich/sliders, with no bun.
Since you are only 2 months out, I think the chili in a cup (no pasta) like you suggested is a good option. I like Deb's suggestion too of the Irish Meatballs but those still might be a little dense. Maybe they are small though? I think you might enjoy the chili a little more though. A few extra teeny bites will feel like you are eating than just picking on a piece of chicken. Even though I like the idea of the buffalo chicken with sauce no bread but I do think that's too dense right now. You might take 2-3 micro bites with that and be done.
Have fun!!

WWBD?
So far I haven't had any troubles with dense foods, only with foods that are too dry! (I even had skirt steak last week and oh my go**** was the best thing I've put in my mouth in forever. YUM.)
