Frisco- $27 Breakfast Buffet

I stayed at a hotel last summer. Stupid me, I thought the buffet was free. So I got up early and had one egg and a banana. As I started to leave, I was informed I had to pay. So I was shocked when the total was $15.   errrrrrrrr      Oh well! I would rather eat one egg and a banana for that instead of the whole buffet like I did in the past! 

My nutritionist gave me this card that she said i should hand to restaurants when I go advising that i have had surgery and they should offer me a discount price for smaller portions when requested. I have not tried it yet. But I know what you are saying. I try to order appetizer portions or actually share a meal with my kids.

I once went to a restaurant where there we no wls options. no appetizers, salads, small plates.  everything was a pound steak plus beans , potatoes, bread and on and on.  and to boot, they had a charge of $18 per person to split meals which made it cost the same.   I told the waitress I had most of my stomach removed and that I could not eat any of the sides and asked if I could just order a steak.   she said ok and I think took a couple of bucks off. it was a great steak and i took most of it home but no way was i going to bring beans and potatoes home.    This is the only place I have ever been that I couldn't find something appropriate.  Guess I don't get out much.     I would hate paying that much for a tiny meal.
