Menstruation woes

VSG on 03/13/14

I take seasonique BCP. It has 12 weeks of normal pills and one week of lower dosage pills instead of the usual placebo. So I normally bleed every 13th week.

I stopped taking it for a month around surgery, so I got my period about a week after surgery. As expected. But now, 9 weeks later, my body is all like "lolz! Time to bleed again."

Screw you, weird WLS hormonal issues! At least I had 9 weeks of freedom, right?

I had 4 cycles one right after the other a few days after surgery. Finally stopped thank the good lord, Lol.

I went from pretty irregular periods due to PCOS to now every 28 days like clockwork...interesting how quickly it effects our cycles.

girls just make shore your using extra birth control , hormonal birth control(the pill , ring ,implants ect. )can not be trusted during the weight lose phase of your journey

the same screwy hormonal problems coursed by hormones that where stored in your fat that messes up your cycle can also stop the pill from working and you would not even know you where pregnant till you start showing

Aww man, sorry to hear this Gwen :( Hopefully your hormones will balance out real soon! I do not have periods anymore (Only have my ovaries), but boy oh boy have the hormones kicked in super high gear since surgery! Going through it as we speak now, more hunger then usual for sure.
