Yum! My family loves Brussels sprouts! I almost always roast them halved in the oven with some garlic olive oil until golden & crispy. This looks really good, though.  Gonna have to whip something up with the sprouts & chicken sausage (I've got some in my freezer).  Can't wait for my garden sprouts to be ready!

You are absolutely right about these things needing to be prepared right. If not they will taste bad. My five year old's favorite vegetable has been a tie between the "dreaded" Brussels sprouts & broccoli since she was very young. I just have some good recipes recipes for them. Only one of them involves bacon, too. They are healthy recipes. :)

Looks good!

For those of you afraid of the sprouts, try shredding them. Boyfriend was convinced he hated them until I shredded them and he didn't know what he was eating. :)

I was thinking that, my next step is grating them in a box grater.

If you have a food processor with shredder blade, I'd highly recommend that. I know if I tried to box grate a bunch of bitty sprouts, I'd lose some skin in the process.
