Newbies- Come one, come all- and stay with us!
Welcome!
If you are new here I just wanted to take a minute to welcome you to the boards. Perhaps you haven't quite reached a point yet where you are posting, and rather just lurking and learning. That is Ok! But please feel free to post! I also want to strongly encourage you to stay with the boards. It is a form of support and accountablility that can assist you long term. We see a lot of newbies come and go here. The vets that tend to stick around are also the vets that keep regain at bay, make goal, etc. It is just one tool in the toolbox, so be sure to use it!

Thank you for the welcome! My VSG is less than a month away now and this board has been a great tool to help me prepare for life with a sleeve. I haven't had the need to post questions because all of my questions have already been asked and answered multiple times (love the search function)!

Reading daily has helped me so much during this process. I'd be so lost without these forums and everyone's helpfulness. I hope that I'm able to give back to the community as time goes on!

You're so welcome! TrendWeight is one of the best tracking tools I have for this process, it seriously keeps me sane since I'm inclined to get really unhealthily obsessive when it comes to numbers. :D I'm glad that you have found it useful as well!!

I'm not quite a newbie, but hope to be. I will be having my severely eroded lap band removed Aug 1, then hopefully will be sleeved in December. I am very nervous about the band removal and what kind of damage may have occurred. . . but it needs to come out, as I have quite a lot of pain. I have also regained 45 lbs. Ugh. I guess if the tool is broken, it's not going to work.
Anyway, I will definitely be active on these boards. I love online support communities, and look forward to everyone's help and advice!
New to the boards- then a newbie! Welcome aboard!
