I Worked Out Today! Did YOU??? - 7/8/2014
I actually ended up working out twice yesterday.
Today I did a 1 hr Orange Theory class. Ran 6mph @ 8% incline for 2.5 mins then 8mph @ 8% for the last 30 seconds. I burned 586 calories in that class today. I will hit my 10,000 step goal today as well.
I worked out today!
What did you do?
Let's Hear It!
I have NOT worked out since my favorite uncle passed in February. Then another uncle passed a few weeks ago. I need to get back motivated for sure. After work on most days, I just want to go home and sit on my butt and watch tv or just sleep. Maybe tonight I will go to the park and walk a mile or two.

Well I can tell you without a doubt that exercise will help with depression for certain. Grief is a tough emotion to deal with it can change your life. But you have to ask yourself would your Uncles want you to sit around and feel sad or would they want you to get out there and continue on your journey. My guess is the journey. So go home get changed, grab a pic of your uncle(s) and hit the park, then go home and sit on your butt and watch tv or go to sleep.
Yes sir!!!

So sorry about your uncle and your depressive state. I know how hard it is to motivate when you're there. I hope that you can find the energy to get out and walk because it will help your mood like nothing else! Also, smelling some energizing scents (cut a lemon and just sniff it) will help tremendously. I'm serious!
Best wishes!
With that much exercise you need to eat. I know its a scary thing to play with after so much work to lose the weight but you need to provide your body with fuel too. A clementine is not enough. You probably burned upward of 1000 calories doing that maybe even more so don't be afraid to bring something along that is 300-500 calories to eat on the way. Its not just about the calories you burn on the trip but also the calories you burn for the next 24-36 hours because of the hard work.
