I Worked Out Today! Did YOU??? - 7/8/2014
I did my favorite "Dance Dance" class this morning for 60 minutes burning 677 calories. I am planning on walking up and down hills tonight for 30 more minutes. I usually burn well over 200 calories because of the hills in my neighborhood. My goal is to continue to have 3-4 days a week that I burn more than 1000 calories besides some slower days of 500 calories. I am really loving that I can actually do all this stuff that I used to do 18 plus years ago!! Learning these hip-hop dance moves is new to me and it is so fun and energizing. I have been doing some Dance Dance, Zumba, water aerobics, tennis (used to play that years ago), mountain trail hiking, Kayaking and of course walking. Walking around here always involves some significant hills so that is an extra bonus. I really need to get with a trainer and get a strengthening routine planned and implement that into the mix. I meet with the Exercise Physiologist at Dr Boyce's office on July 18 to discuss exercise...it will be good to hear what he has to say. Anyway, kind of a ramble...sorry....just excited with what I am able to do now.
