Looking to increase my fat intake- suggested target?
Howdy,
I need to increase my fat intake (I know, healthy fats not crap, adjust other caloric areas). What would you suggest gram wise?

Oh wow, that is waaaaay more than my normal. If I am not in weight loss mode though my calories are comparable to yours, so a perfect guideline. Thanks!

I go on percentages as calorie needs are different between people and depend on a lot of factors.. I aim for about 65% fat, 20% protein, and 15% carbs.. that gets adjusted up or down depending on cals- but that's for my normal 1600-1800 range. Works out to +/- 75-90g protein, 55-65g carbs (I incl fiber) and 100-120g fats, and other than hydrog/trans fats and vegetable/seed oils, I don't avoid any.. When I track- I'm usually spot on in these ranges, and it's a very tasty way to eat to boot!
I need more carbs than that or my sugar level drops to low... but between what you posted and the other response from cal. it gives me a good idea of range. Thanks, I do appreciate the input! I will begin to note percentages like you mentioned- just slightly adjusted up on the carb and down on the fat.
