I was sleeved at 54 and am now 56.  I would do it again in a heartbeat.  I look older than I did when my face was inflated with fat, but the rest of me looks and feels younger than ever.

Currently 62.  Sleeved at 57.  No regrets.  Gone are most of my prescription meds. I am doing great.  In maintenance it is all about choices because I can eat anything I want.  This is not a good thing nor a bad thing; it is what it is.

Sleeved 4 months ago with no age-related issues.  Listening to the younger people in my support group, I've actually had fewer problems, less pain, etc.

Tigboa, I love to read all these stories but when I saw your post that you are 72 , I have to say You truly are an Amazement to me. I just hope I get over these doubts and can post in a few more months that I did it and am loving it. It really is an odd thing for me as long as I am reading about the surgery Pre and Post and learning more about it all I am ready to go but when I get away from the reading and learning I start doubting my decision to have the sleeve. Wonder why that is? I cannot wait to tell my therapist about it and see what his answer will be. Answers and opinions from any of you I would love to hear.
