Sleep and why we need it

The other day someone made a post about the importance of sleep and today I ran across this article on the very same topic.  I know that I definitely feel healthier and lose weight better when I'm getting the sleep my body needs.  (Although as my body changes I find that I need to change my sleeping position too, which is odd!)

I am 3 1/2 weeks post op, and have not slept through the night since surgery.. hope this changes soon!  I really don't have any other issues other than that, my recovery so far has been amazing, just wish i could sleep all night.

 

      

Surgery Date: August 6, 2014. (Dr's Goal weight for me is set at 162~My Goal Weight is 145.  (I think, will see how i feel at 162!)

I had a really hard time sleeping post-op, I roll around a LOT in the night and I couldn't.  ARGH.  It did get better, though :)

Gwen I agree completely I loose much better when I sleep well ... I almost think that when we are not getting sleep we get cranky and moody and it though us totaly out of wack ... at least me!!! :-)

I'm amused that the night I posted this I ended up getting like 2 hours of sleep.  :P  I better get a good night of sleep tonight so I can run tomorrow!
