Life is amazing
Glad I can help encourage you! I honestly have to say that even if I never lose another pound from what I've lost now, I would have zero regrets. Even now, at almost 100 pounds down, my life is infinitely better than it was a year ago. It has been so worth it. Even the strange complication I had three months out :P

I totally relate. I'm glad you posted this.
I think what surprised me is that major changes have already occurred in my life. I don't think I expected them to happen until I reached my goal. I envy the opportunities you've had to pursue interests like tai chi, yoga, etc. I'll get there too some day.
When I've had a challenging day, I remember how far I've come and am proud that I've been able to achieve a significant weight loss. I feel a sense of euphoria and accomplishment when I exercise and feel my body strengthening. It beats the hell out of double cheeseburgers and fries.

I really get what you're saying. I also wasn't expecting that my life would be so radically different in such a (relatively) short amount of time. But instead, here I am and it's like night and day.
You will get where you want to go and it's fantastic that you've come so far already! I keep telling myself "yes, I still have a ways to go, but for the first time ever I know I'll get there."

This is one of the things I talk with my therapist a lot :P "Whose life am I living?!" It's just so strange and sometimes I have a hard time wrapping my brain around it.
I guess there are worse problems to have, eh? ;)

Sounds like a wonderful time! We used to buy a 1/2 cow at a time too, loved knowing exactly where my meat came from and how it was raised. I have never been to a ren faire, not sure why because it seems right up my ally? Enjoy these NSVs, you have earned every one!
And I LOVE the movie CLUE too! :)
