Mike B is running the Long Beach marathon in the morning

VSG on 09/13/12

Just a quick shout out to my DH, Mike B. he will be running his second full marathon in the morning. He is shooting for a time of 3:30 which would make him a Boston qualifier.

Before his VSG, he couldn't run around the block, and now, he runs six days a week. He averages 30-35 miles a week.

One of us will post when we get back to a computer with the results.

Thanks Frisco, he didn't finish in the time he wanted, but he did finish. His time was 4:25. He called at mile 8 and said his vertigo started acting up at mile 5. He still has a few races to get a qualifying time.

Well, he was able to finish, but not in the time he was shooting for. He suffers from chronic vertigo, and it flared up at mile 5.
