Best thing about weight loss: So many NSV's.. i can tie my shoes now without being winded, "Shopping" in my own closet that has many different sizes in it . Feeling better, blood pressure down where it belongs,
Worst thing about weight loss: My batwings are getting worse
Favorite Type of Exercise: Walking
Current Goal: I want to run some 5Ks at some point, just starting the Couch to 5K program. Want to be "overweight" or normal.. not obese.
Other Information: Married for 32 years, have one 30 year old son.
Surgery Date: August 6, 2014. (Dr's Goal weight for me is set at 162~My Goal Weight is 145. (I think, will see how i feel at 162!)

Where I am in the Surgery Process - I'm 15 days post-op! Down 18 pounds since surgery and nearly 30 pounds from my high. WOOHOO!
Best thing about weight loss - I'm looking forward to shopping with friends and being able to look at more than the shoes and purses. :) Also, I have a really horrific body image (shocker, right?) and I'm starting to love myself just a little bit more every day.
Worst thing about weight loss - WANTING IT TO HAPPEN FASTER.
Favorite Type of Exercise - I haven't done much yet other than taking long walks with my dog. However, in my younger & thinner days, I was a runner. I desperately want to get back to this.
Current Goal - I want to run a 5K by spring (in under 35 minutes).
Other Information - I'm a nurse, but work at a desk now, after years in critical care and cardiology. I also love to knit and read. I'm a HUGE history buff, too. Finally, I'm an unabashed Anglophile and am always planning my next trip to the UK.
I hear you about wanting to lose it faster!! :) Meeeee toooo!!! You are doing amazing though!!! 18 lbs in 15 days is amazing! I'm down 15 lbs and tomorrow is my 4 week surgiversary. I haven't lost anything this past week.... :/ I guess it is the dreaded 3 week stall I've heard so much about.... just trying to stick to plan.... I need more protein, so that is my goal. :)
Thanks! What is helping me know I am on the right track is the way my jeans are fitting... I can actually feel a difference already. :) Even though I know it won't happen, I get nervous that now that I have lost 24 lbs, it's time for me to gain it back (that's what always happened in past diets).... I am not getting all my protein in or my liquids. My goal right now is to reach those goals and I know the weight will come off. :)

Worst thing - loose skin and losing hair!!!!!
