More about hair

Just like everyone is supposed to experience hair loss and my mother had RNY 10 yrs ago and didn't.  Everyone is different and I wasn't using it from day one. I believe in a higher power that has the last say. My grandmother has stage 4 cancer and wasn't supposed to make it out of surgery last year. Her tumor wasn't supposed to shrink either and guess what she's still here and it has shrunk. So much for the doctors knowing what's supposed to happen.

Believe what you want and I can believe what I know is to be true.

No, not everyone experiences hair loss.  Each person is different, and while many experience hair loss, it's a very individual experience in terms of the amount lost and the length of time it occurs.  This has been explained to you already in this thread and you're not seeing it.

That's what I said you guys are saying that my oil isn't working.  That's my argument.  I said how do you know if younever tried it. Smh no one reads everything someone writes, just bits and pieces and goes off of that. I knew that coming in. My mother didn't experience hair loss. My hair thinned and we had two different  procedures.

This person was just making a suggestion, so I am really surprised at some of the cruel posts in reply!

Thank you! All I wanted to do was share what worked for me. I am not telling anyone to buy it. Just wanted to  share my experience like we are all doing here. I am just being attacked for it.

Originally, yes, but then she doubled down and was very (oddly, imo) anti-science.  Given the amount of posts on OH regarding hair loss, this is a a hot topic, and there is no amount of oils, vitamins, prayers, or rain dances that can solve it.  You literally have to ride it out and some people get luckier than others, in that they don't noticeably experience it or it doesn't occur in a volume that is a problem.  Her replies to the posts telling her that shampoos/oils don't work was basically "NUH UH" so I don't really understand what you expect.

This person exclaimed that this extremely expensive oil made her hair grow back.  She told this to a woman who was asking for information about helping to stop her hair loss.  She is incorrect.  This combination of oils can do nothing to grow hair or stop it's loss.  When this was pointed out to her by numerous people, she constantly defends this product.  I think it's a lot more cruel to spread lies that may cost people so much money and give completely false hope to people who are losing their hair.

You can start out nicely with her and then she begins to go on about god, her mother and why losing weight makes her more knowledgeable than every doctor and the folks at the Mayo Clinic.

Do you think it is good to let people recommend $45 worth of "snake oil" to people on this site.  Go look at her original post.  She says it works.

I have never seen anyone claim that absolutely everyone loses hair.  Not once in the 8 years that I have been on this site.  Everyone acknowledges that, although most people lose some hair (some lose a lot and some lose a little), some lucky people lose no additional hair beyond normal daily shedding after WLS.
