Head cold 2weeks2days post op

Does anyone know what i can take for my head cold? I has surgery 2 weeks 2 days ago. My face hurts and my nose is running like a tap.....

Ugh its long weekend and I'm sick!

I use dayquil and nyquil. The pills, not the liquid. The liquid tends to have sugar/alcohol.

I had a sinus headache in the hospital and they have me sudafed...pills are very small. I was also told I could resume Allegra d for allergies...you might try a nasal spray too like Flonase.

Feel better! I'm sure that's a lot to deal with post op!

Thanks i will definitely try the Sudafed.... sneezing with abdominal pain is not fun.

I bet sneezing and coughing hurts! Are you still wearing your binder? Also sounds like that might be allergies with the sneezing and runny nose...feel better!

You are probably right about allergies..... my doctor never binded me. I don't know if they do binding in Toronto. That would have been very helpful though....

Soft foods sounds lovely.... i can't wait to reach that stage..... when do you get to have soft food? My dr says after 4 weeks post op.

I have my 2 week post op on the 31st so should move to soft food then. How are you feeling tonight?

So exciting re 2 week follow up.... you should start doing a menu its so much easier to think about it now so on the 29th you get what you need and prep.

I've been in bed all evening i can't seem to shake the abdominal pain or heartburn today but its ok. Tomorrow is a new day.....

I can't wait until you hit day 10 and you see the physical changes thats on the way. Take pictures.... how are you doing?

im good...first day I've exceeded the 64 cc of fluid! Only took Tylenol today so things are going well!
