So sorry for the nausea! That will take it out of anyone :/

It's totally normal to be so fatigued. You just had major surgery! Work on walking and hydrating and try to get your protein in if you can - otherwise, take it easy and heal. I'll get better!

I took a month off from work after surgery at my surgeon's recommendation. I thought that was overly cautious, but it wasn't. The first few weeks at work, I desperately wished I could lie down somewhere for 5 minutes. I'm just now (2 months post-op) at a point where I can put in a solid day's work. And by the time I get home, I have just enough energy to watch Netflix in bed.

So be patient with yourself; it can take a while to get your strength back.

5 months out for me and I still have days that I just don't want to do anything but sleep. Mine is I think some of the meds I have to take but still so annoying!

right after my surgery I threw up 12 times in about 13 hours. I also dry heaved like crazy. But around 1 or 2 am the night after I was sooooo much better.

It's so different for everyone on this journey. Take it easy on yourself and you'll do wonderfully!
