I want to thank everyone for posting yesterday, I'm sorry I did not post replies, I did not get to look at them until this morning - however, it did look like everyone worked really hard to stay on course and did a great job
, I know many of us struggle with good behaviors on the weekend, congrats to everyone for keeping it under control !!!
I'm feeling pretty good today...Started back to work, so no drugs on board today, so far is going okay, with minimal reminders that I am a recent surgery refugee
...
Now for Sunday's food:
Pre B - 3 ritz crackers
1 mini cherry kitkat
B - peanut butter chocolate Oh Yeah? protein bar
S - 2 ritz crackers
L - 20 oz decaf sf/ff fv and caramel latte
3 shortbread cookies
S - 2 ritz crackers
D - 3 oz grilled salmon marinated in balsamic vinegrette
small slice toasted whole wheat french bread w/ butter
tomato, mozz, & basil salad drizzled with olive oil
2 roasted potato wedges
S - 2 ritz crackers
PLUS - 65 oz water/crystal light
TOTALS = Cals - 1229 Fat - 60 Carbs - 91 Protein - 77
Those ritz are evil
, I am totally blaming the nurse at the surgical center on getting me started on the cracker thing, she told me to have a couple with every dose of meds, of course I've been cutting back on the meds steadily since Friday, but not on the ritz
...Looking at Sundays numbers, definately could have done better on the protein in relation to the cals, now that I've given up my ritz fix this should get better...

Salmon must have been a good deal all over NC since you and I both had it last night ...Yes, I'm feeling pretty fine today, made it into the after lunch time and still doin' good...Looks like you had a great food day on Sunday, I definately need to work on a way to keep the calorie numbers down while getting in good protein...How does that Profect stuff taste? I keep looking at it on Susan Maria's website but haven't decided to order it yet...Can you get it somewhere locally in Wilmington? I get down there for business meetings every so often and it would be great if I could pick up just one to sample rather than having to order a bun*****ase I don't like it...Never tried strawberries and pb before, I do really like pb, does it remind you of anything in particular that I could relate to taste wise?

Hi. I got these from GNC - actually they are called "New Whey" protein tubes - I just called them profect in fitday because the stats are the same. I usually just grab one if I know I'm not gonna be at home - was at my mom's all day and at the pool. The taste is too strong for me so I just add it to my water bottle and it tastes like weak Koolaide. I had the fruit punch. 25 gms or 42 gms in a shot. The lid screws back on so I figured I could half the 42 gram tubes when I try them. The GNC in Mayfaire or by Sam's on College Road are my favorites.
Ha Ha. I didn't have the p.butter with the berries. I just wanted a taste before I went to bed and ate it off the spoon!!1 Yum.
Sundays food
B- Protein shake and two pieces of bacon..
L- roast beef and chicken luchmeat with cheese
S- 2 protein balls
D- carnitas burrito with out the shell..
S- I think I had.. oh yeah.. ice cream.
Totals calories 1214.... carbs 32... fat..65

drank a lot yesterday over 100 oz.
Didnt exercise but redid my entire kitchen cabinets and draws, cleaned up my computer area, cleaned out the china cabinet and finished my waterfall in the back yard.. maybe I can consider that a workout in itself...

Hi Alesia, Well guess what a week is over and i was 163 pounds on the 11th. now today is the 18th and the scale said 157 pounds.. woo hoo.. its that great. hubby says i dont need to loose more but i want to see my goal. only 7 more pounds to go. i am in control and i will get there. yesterday was a good day. i was kindof worried about over eating but i did great. i decided just to eye ball and put small amount on my plate.glad your feeling better. about those crackers.. i love crackers and i cant have them in my house.. no control.... here is what i had for sunday.. not sure about the calories and all... B- 1 c. special k cereal 1/2 c. skim milk
L- 3 meatballs (church picnic) spoon of baked beans about 1/2 c. tossed salad w/ french dressing spoon of fresh fruit salad
D- grilled hamburger (mom and dad's picnic) 1 hamburger bun spoon of homemade mac. salad spoon of bushs baked beans 1 deviled egg 1 small piece of cake
S- 1/2 c. applesauce( at home)
20 oz def. coffee 120 oz. plain water

I'm dancin', dancin' in the streets ( do you know this song, its from the 70's hum along with me)...I'd raise my arms over my head for an up in the air woowhoo but I'm on strict orders from the doc to keep my elbows at my sides for a least a few more days...
Congrats on bumpin' under 160, that is awesome, I'm sure you look simply mahhhvalous where you are, but can relate to wanting to see the magic number on a scale - don't worry, its a journey, you'll make it to your ultimate goal, just keep applying the same rules and remember whose in charge - I AM THE CAPTAIN, I AM THE CAPTAIN, that is your mantra
