Good Morning All !!!  Welcome to Tuesday Going back to see the surgeon for my 1st follow-up today, plan to stop at the Starbucks for my latte fix and, of course, a little protein too ...Still working on making my program where I want it to be, mentally I know I did not gain 9 lbs in one day from overeating, it was from surgery, but still challenging me daily to see the higher numbers on the scale, was a down a few this a.m after the morning constitutional ( TMI?) Realize I have to give it time to get back to my fighting weight so to speak, but still it is making me more conscious than ever of what goes into my mouth/pouchie... B - 10 oz banana/chocolate/coffee protein frappachino S - 4 oz lf cottage cheese       snack size sf jello       1 sf peanut butter crunch L - 3 oz fresh mozzerella, sliced roma tomatoes & fresh basil drizzled with olive oil, salt & pepper       1 1/2 oz deli turkey breast S- 1 sf nougat      2 prunes      6 dark chocolate dipped prune bites D - 1 cup caesar topped with 5  broiled bacon wrapped bay scallops S - 1 shortbread cookie PLUS -  67 oz water/crystal light & 10 oz hot tea TOTALS =     Cals - 1261     Fat - 68     Carbs - 64     Protein - 102 Until later...Alesia

Your menu looks great girl.  Good luck at MD today.  The swelling will go down - you know it's water weight.   Monday's Journal B-high protein pudding, 1/2 c. strawberries L-vegetable salad, 3 oz. roasted chicken, 1 oz. 2% cheddar, FF French dsg, 1 Brack's starlight mint S-Nectar Twisted Cherry S-1/2 c. cheerios, 1/2 c. lactaid D-3 oz. pork tenderloin, 1/2 c. squash/zucchini, 1 slice red cal bread S-low sugar fudgesicle, sugar free pudding cup Totals:  cals - 1032    fat - 20       carbs - 99           protein - 122

Thanks Denise, Been meaning to ask, what is red cal bread? better for you than traditional white bread...You did great too, excellent job at getting in great protein while keeping the other numbers in check ... Keep doin' what you're doin', its working !!!  Alesia

It's made by Nature's Own.  It's called Double Fiber wheat bread - 50 calories and 11 carbs per slice and is yummy!!!!  I just have it listed as reduced calorie bread on my tracker in fitday since the other wheat bread I used to eat or sometimes still eat when I don't have this is 100 or 110 per slice. Thanks for the great support you give to everyone on here!!!

Man Anita Girl ,are you feeling like a camel storing up for the draught (LOL) that is great on the plain water, I should drink sooo much...Plus you will also get the added benefit of it helping keep you regular ( if you know what I mean - LOL)... You did good with your food, I know these numbers are going to keep working in your favor and the scale is going to keep moving downward ...

As for how much the girls weigh, went for 330 cc's each, I think thats about 1 1/2 - 2 lbs total in added weight...Like I said, I know mentally the rest is because of surgery, I will all be fine in a month or 2, in the mean time though will still be careful of what I am eating, just so I can feel like I'm working the best I can at my program...I am THE CAPTAIN, I just need to remember adding passengers can affect the ship capacity  Alesia

hey now... i might look like a camel... lol.... but i am not... those bottles i have been using is 32 oz. and i dont use a glass... its really good with ice chips.. i throw it in the freezer .. yum... i dont sip my water. maybe i should... i sure hope the scale moves down more. yup we need to be the CAPTAIN...........      we just got done picking fresh strawberries... i ate strawberries from the field... couldnt measure... oh no................  man it was hot out there.. water will be good today...... sure is hot out... Hi Julie, You had another great day...good job!!! Yeah I love power crunch too, they are "da bomb"...Have you tried the OH YEAH bars, don'l like them quite as much, but they are good also...  Keep up the good work !!!  Alesia

It is hard to see the scale more the wrong way. I know I would be having a fit myself since I am so addicted to the scale.

So now lets talk about my other addiction.. ice cream.. I only eat sf ice cream and what I have discovered is it helps me go potty.. I know tmi. If I eat to much I get a terrible tummy ache and gas that could kill a small country.. so I know i have to be careful with it.. lol... but I do love the stuff probably more than I should. I know real sugar would kill me and I am not so great with acohol sugars either.. so that is my ice cream story..lol

S- ice cream and a peach.. yummy..

total calories 1254... fat..43... carbs 65... protein 135

did good drinking as well.. good dayl... over all... Man I need to figure out some things to exhange for all these protein items although I enjoy them.. seems kind of boring to eat the same things ever day.. but at least the cals and protein are up.. thats a good thing..
