So I have a friend who is two years out and has gained back all but about 60 pounds. His insulin is out of control, he feels bad all the time and has finally said.. I am done.. i need to get back on track. He called me today looking for help. No my friends the time out diet was not for me.. but for him to get himself back on track from all the bad eating he has been doing. I would melt away if i did that I think.. although I have thought about it.. i know I am bad...

So how is everyone doing today.. mondays and work.. grrr.r... always loads of fun.. so how did you do today eating.. i was on the low side.. I dont know why I did this, but I was just so worried I would over eat that I refused to eat today. than I saw my numbers and said... opps.. someday I will stop worrying all the time about what I put in my mouth... maybe not.. i dont want to go backwards.

I've not done the time out thing either. I did a plateau breaker when I thought I was on a plateau (I really wasn't) but my body rejected that, I can't do straight protein like that. But I've heard others have had great success with it. Tell him to get on here!!! This has been the most help to me. It' s one thing to know what your eatting and another totally to see it staring at you when you log it!!!!  I didn't have a very good day. I let some personal junk kind of mess up my day. I know better then that, and I can't use other people as an excuse for me. I'm more focused on myself today even though my time crunch is worse today then usual.  b - protein drink  l - turkey wrap d - tuna and crackers s - 4 protein balls (throughout the day/evening)  calories 1015 fat 39  carbs 39 protein  119 I WILL be the captain of my ship today!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well even though you didnt have a stellar day your numbers look good. protein is great and carbs are low along with fat. I know right now it's a struggle figuring out this schedule. It does become easier.. at least I hope it does for you. Take care and sail forth captain..you can do it.

Ouch.. let me get my jaw off the floor.. that is a tough one.. the carbs are evil and sneak in through some sneaky ways. But you did have some bread, popcorn, carbmel crisp and fruit so it's understandable. you protein looks nice.. Hold that steering wheel steady captain avoid those carb mines ahead. Keep up the good work..

Hi Everyone, Wow, I have really missed you all and my ship has been floundering in open seas without your kind words, support and guidance...Well I'm back - hope to be able to report in regularly and get myself back on track...Am officially up 6 lbs from where I want to be which puts me right outside my personal wiggle window of +/- 5...I'm back on track starting today, a new resolve, need to break away from sooo many carbs and foray's into real sugar ( too much at one time still makes me dump, but alot of little tastes will go down easy, but are NOT good for me )...Been grazing too much too... Will be reporting in on Tuesday's for tomorrow, started tracking again today... I'm SO GLAD to be back...See ya soon... Alesia PS.  Carla, as to your friend. I think a very modified program to get back to the basics and on track to try and reset the pouch would work out really well - I can really empathize, cause I know one of my biggest fears is to allow myself to get out of contral and " gain it all back " ...

Hey welcome back. glad to hear you are ok. Time to get that ship sailing again and shed those pounds you have found.

I agree... He says he is ready to get sailing so I will do what I can to help him.

Again glad you're back and I will see you tomorrow.
