well if it wasnt tied down I nibbled on it today.. very bad day for me... I have got to get control.. My other half thinks they are so nice to bring me some sf cookies.. yeah... thats what I thought too.. need I say more. So here was my day
breakfast:

Heavy eating day for me again.  Breakfast: Malto Meal, soy milk and banana Snack: soy nuts 1/4 cup Lunch: 3 egg omelet with 2 slices swiss and green chilis, cottage cheese Snack: 20 gram protein bar Dinner: Chicken Fricassee 1 cup, no pasta No dessert Totals: Calories: 1707 Fat: 68 Carbs: 145 Protein: 137

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

My humble opinion about protein.  One we dont absorb so we need more.. two protein requires more work to process so we burn more calories assimulating it into our system.  Three the body likes to burn carbs first, fat second and protein last so if your diet is mostly protein you will burn the carbs than fat.  So.. if you have low carbs it goes to the fat in your body while the protein protects all the important organs. Thats just my opinion and why I try to keep my at 100 or above each day.  Ideally I would like mine to hit 120 but it doesnt always make that goal.  I do know that doing this, I have no fat on my body to speak of so I believe this is the reason why.  Again, just my humble opinion. ok i understand. i do exercise so really i do need more calories and protein... so low carb numbers are good? i will try to get it up there. anita

Well the good news is the Breyer's is gone...the bad news is it's still on sale for $1/pint and they have no light or sugar-free flavors !  My fat % is going down, but those carbs still need some tweaking: B- Nectar Fuzzy Navel S- Banana and %2 milk L- 1/2 Chicken salad sandwich S- 1c. Breyers Oreo ice cream, 2 water crackers D- 2oz grilled chicken, 1oz fettucine w/2T alfredo sauce, 1/2c. steamed broccoli S #1- tangerine S #2- BBQ chicken drumstick 1452 cals, 45g fat, 165g carbs, 101g protein, 15g fiber 70oz water

Very nice.. you are doing great.. carbs arent to bad.. they are good carbs at least.. those bananas are crazy on the carb meter... Love the protein total... See ya tomorrow.. Carla
