Hello all.. I come to you exhausted and sore.  My legs hurts from my work out the other day and I am telling you the spring cleaning bug has taken over my brain.  I hit my other boys room today.  I hung shelves, tossed out clothes, got rid of tons of junk, fixed his dvd player, arranged all his clothes, set up storage containers for his legos and knex.  No.. i am not done.  I also went to kmart, target and walmart for storage containers and such. Than I went in the kitchen and took everything  yes everything out of the cabinets.  I cleaned and organized them.  added some shelves to my pantry and organized that and redid all my spices.  I started at 800 am this morning and didnt finish until 700pm tonight.. dont forget I made dinner too.  gee I am so tired now..  What is wrong with me.. than I had to stop myself from starting in the garage to straighten all those shelves.. oh I forgot I organized my closets and draws and did the laundry too.. yikes.. I know its obessive compulsive but I cant stand disorganization.... I need to go back to work just to rest. So I hope everyone had a good day and the new week is here.. how did you all do.  here was my day

Drank a ton and think I had a pretty good day.  I managed to remember to eat my snacks today which is good.  I usually forget when I get in these moods.   Well off to get ready for work tomorrow. I will see you all than. Carla

Ugh...looks like you had a super productive day.  I still have to put the advent and Christmas decorations away!!  Cleaning is at the fore of my mind since we will be moving before August and I know things have to be spic and span when we leave.  I am already thinking of things I could start packing.   Our Bishop from Northern Indiana visited his seminarians at Sewanee today and we were happy to see him since the ordination.  He discussed job options with us which is promising.  He always takes us out for dinner at a super nice place, tonight no exception.  I usually get the filet as it's super tender and small.  Still, I ate half less than everyone else at least of my potatoe, steak and salad.  So, at the end of the day, I wish I would have planned better.  What I am left with is WAY TOO MANY CALORIES FOR A GASTRIC BYPASS PATIENT!  I never even thought it possible for us to get this many calories.  I am here to warn you all....it's easy with resturaunt food...butter and all....alcohol...and extra protein bars and snacks that I didn't need given our plans for dinner. It is with much embarrassment that I post today, but it's word to the wise...including me.   Hey...you never know, it might just trick my body and change things up enough to create a loss or something in the morning.  Ugh.....

Wow.. where did you put it..lol.. Well at least the protein got up today.  I am glad you had a nice time at your dinner and I am sure you are excited about upcoming events, employment opportunities and ending a long period of time in school.  Today was your day and I am glad you enjoyed it.  One thing we need to remember is to plan for times when we may go out for a meal like that, but sometimes it may be un avoidable.  Like you said the body may say.. what was that... than today you can remind it and it will be ok.   Have a great one... Where did I put it? Well, that's one of the reasons that I decided to post the day...this is a testament to how grazing can make you eat more than you want or intend.  Grazing just doesn't mean snacking all day, it can be a long and lovely dinner where you don't decide how much of your entree you will eat ahead of time.  With such a large party, the waitors don't come to take your plates right away so you can just keep picking at the meal as your pouch empties.  I really think this is how it worked for me last night.  Good lesson.  I NEVER thought I could eat that many calories post-op....that shows me! That is so great... keep that scale heading the right way.  I am freaking out with my scale now.  I dont know what happened but today I got on it and it was 125.  what the heck did i do.  Maybe just teh swelling from working out.  Heck I dont know, but you know I am going nuts right now... hehehe... You had a very nice day.  all your numbers are spot on.  Sometimes its good to let the body rest abit from exercise so enjoy the time off and hit it hard when you get back in. Take care Carla

Your numbers still look great considering the potato, rice and bread.  protein almost hit a hundred and the other numbers look good.  I am the same way with work.  I have a system that helps me stay on track.  At home it often gets nutty and I forget things. Hope you have a great week. Carla
