IDS is a brand of whey protein......I was hooked on the Vanilla Cinnamon for quiet some time, loved it in my coffee :).  The Belgain chocolate is ok, I prefer the Vanilla Cream actually and I love chocolate. Some of the GNC stores and Vitamin Shoppe carry the IDS brand, look at the label though as they have low carb and some high-carb, high sugar ones for weight gain.

We have vanilla at home. I don't know the brand off hand.  We bought it at BJs so I swear we will have it forever.  It's a six pound bag of it.  But we use two scoops a day for our morning smoothies.   I will have to check out IDS online.  Thanks for the info.

Oh Dana I am so glad I came to the board today. Haven't been for a few days because I was busy. I had a blood dr's appt yesterday and the slacks (6)I wore wear tight on the waist. I couldn't wait to get in the house and take them off...at first I thought maybe the slacks got shrunk a little at the drycleaner.....hmm so I put on my cotton panties and yoga pants to exercise and my panties where TIGHT!  I thought it might be the ho****er shrunk my  white cotton underwear   but I thought better not to buy into that explanation. I know exactly whats going on and it hit me right then. Scale always bounces 2 or 3 lbs up to five if its water retention but last few days its been stuck at 131. I really didn't get excited but knew it was time for all liquid for me as well. I usually have been eating Kashi Go Lean Crunch in the evening when I was getting munchies, always seems to hit right about 10! Yesterday I went to liquid only and took in drinks and was at 600 calories. Why am I eating this when I am not hungry so I guess I can call this grazing or head hunger.  Yesterday I was so scared to eat I just had  two Slimfast with Unjury which totals 270 cal. for each drink. So I am adding two drinks today and timed everything, I need the plan to stick to without deviating at all. I started with my first drink at 1:15PM-4:15-7:15 then 10:15 with a sleeping pill. I think staying up late is bad for me.  I have no room whatever to put anything else in my stomache and I know from experience the drinks keep me full 4 hours so witht the alarm set I will drink before I think about chewing. On my 3rd day I will drop one drink and pick up  boiled egg. I never have gone over that but I was getting way too many carbs with 1cup of Kashi. So day one was a success for me also. I threw out the Kashi and put myself on auto delivery last month for LoCarb Slimfast 2 net carbs as its the only thing I can use due to allergies. Unjury has been on auto delivery since surgery. I was so thrilled to see I was not alone in worry and honest for those ready this and saying 131 is not high, it feels it to me and I want to be proactive. I am not particularly following 5day plan as I always stay on my drinks but heck I have cut off the crunch for good. Dana I know your tenacity and you will succeed as well I plan to and I see my surgeon in April for my checkup, I was 131 last yr when I saw him and I was fully dressed. I want to be 122-125 when I see him in 8 wks. ~Ginny

Ginny, glad to see you realize what your slipping at and grabbing the bull by the horns, mine vice has definitely been sweets; not allot a day but EVERYDAY, since my highest post-op about 2 months ago.....134.9......I said that's enough, no more, no excuses. So I'm back on the bandwagon, feeling good about myself and journaling my food in fitday.....I think that is probably the BEST thing I could of done and gotten more active on OH, with the move and all last year, buying a house, getting internet and setting back up.....I just didn't devote enough time for ME and this awesome support board. Keep in touch, you'll make it happen I know you will. Hugs,

OMG I just got off the scale. Right there with you at 134.5 I am disgusted at myself. I thought my hematogist's scale was waying heavy yesterdaybut looks like I am the heavy. When I posted my update  my page I was 127. I noticed I was wanting that Kashi Crunch without milk just pick at it but if I remember correctly 1/2 cu is 35 grms carb. and before this I didn't eat carbs. I managed to get through all the holidays the past three years without gaining a pound. You can't get lack for day. I did this to myself. I just finished walking 20 min with weights, this morning I did pilates...I am drinking water and I took a fluid pill as I seem to be holding fluid. Will see what tomorrow brings. I may have to contnue the drink only. I have been keeping up with your changes, you had alot on your plate. I did too, hubby had a heart attack last June and 3 surgeries following that. I just forgot about ME these past few weeks and was only exercising 3 times week only because when I get a hour I just want to chill out. I can see that is not going to work for me. No more excuses just gotta get real before I get fat. BTW, Happy 3rd yr anniversary to us!!
