I am from Lancaster County so when I moved back here in 2001 I came home.  I had open RnY in 1999.  Thanks for the tip, I think I will call the hospitals and talk to the patient advocate's office.  Great idea!  I'd love to find someone local who can help me out!

Hi, I saw your post on the grad OH board.  I live in Bucks County, but know of several support groups you might be interested in. There is a monthly meeting in Phoenixville, PA, close to King of Prussia.  You can contact Andy at [email protected] for details.  He is a wonderful resource.  I know of this group, but have never attended. There is a monthly support group meeting in Harleysville, PA, close to the Lansdale exit on the NE extension.  The group meets on either a Sat or Sun at Heather Ward's house.  Heather is at [email protected].   This is a really friendly group.  This month's meeting is on 3/29, 1-5 pm.  We often bring WLS-friendly snacks to share. There is a monthly group that meets at Barix Clinics in Langhorne, PA, which is on the perimeter road at the Oxford Valley Mall.  Although "for Barix patients only" we have many people who are not Barix patients who attend (and are most welcome).  The post-op group meets the 3rd Wed of the month.  The meetings start at 7 pm and go until 8:30 (formally), but often go later than that informally.
