Accountability... what did you eat Sunday

HAPPY EASTER ALL.  I hope the bunny was good to you and brought you lots of great protein treats.  So I decided to eat a sticky bun.  I remember BWLS my MIL would make them yum yum.. I would eat the whole thing of them.  they are rolls with lots of yummy brown sugar, and pudding I think.  Well she made them with SF stuff so you know I had to go there.. OMG.. it was so good I ate it very slowly because of the roll but it went in and didnt kill me.. At least till the sugar rush hit and I fell asleep sitting in a chair..lol.  but it was worhth it. So how was everyone elses day.  Did you through caution to the wind or keep that ship sailing.  I really thought I was doing badly but when I did my input I swear it should of been higher.  Not sure I keep looking at it and think it should be more.. but It was a nice day all the way around.. Hope everyone who celebrates had a Blessed Easter. My grand daughter had me on the phone through her entire egg hunt...for 31 eggs which started at 10:30AM to 1:30PM!  Can't believe my daughter (ah maybe the au pair did it) had patients to stuff plastic eggs with gifts, candy and money. I just put dyed eggs in her basket with the candy when she was little! Things have changed. Oh my I still have no appetite and I am happy about that...but forcing food just to get my protein in is hard. I nursed my lasgana for two meals but couldn't get in one whole serving. After the small salad I was just about done. We ate about 5 and at 10 I pushed in a drink with extra protein, I feel like I never want to eat again. Guess it was the meat I couldn't mentally accept especially having it 2 days in a row and first time in many years.

Wow.. I wish I wasnt hungry right now.  I dont know I just feel like all I do is eat anymore.  Very low day for you and I a lot of it is soft.  Is the tummy cranky or are you just not hungry.  Sometimes there is difference. At least you got the protein in so thats a good thing. Take care Carla

Just not hungry Carla...the little I did eat (meat) was too dense for my pouch...filled me and it too two sitting for me to get what I did down. I saw how low I was so I realy had to push that drink later on. I think my body gets enough from supplments, I take mega doses of vits and supplements so I am getting enough obviously from that...I didn't even think about a sweet thing all day. Glad there was no chocolate in my house or I would have probably mindlessly just ate it.

Well, I haven't tallied anything up yet because I'm trying not to obsess about it as much as I have been... had a good Easter Sunday - no ham dinner because...ummm...well, I didn't feel like it?!?  DH didn't really care so why bust my butt to make a huge dinner - that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

I think I'm probably low on my numbers, but I don't care - I didn't feel like tracking and I didn't feel like eating a lot today.  Oh well, I'll probably pig out tomorrow.

I track my foods to make sure I am eating enough.  If I dont I tend to be way below the 1000 mark.  I think we are allowed to have an I dont care day.. go for it.  Hope you enjoyed the holiday. Carla

dh and ds have been whining since I had surgery about wanting a ham. So I made ham. Ham, baked yams, homemade mashed potatoes, gravy (egads, did I forget how to make gravy?) I had to resort to two packs of package gravy to "fix it". I made a nice lettuce/spinach salad (which only I ate) and a yellow cake with chocolate/ff cream cheese frosting and carob chips on top (which everyone BUT me ate).  Then...my ds and my ddaughter and future sil all showed up a half hour late..No I did not bother to reheat anything. Late is late. At least dh and I got hot food.  But I did alright for the day. I thought my counts were alittle off of what I wanted but I nearly forgot the salami/cheese roll up thingy I ate.. Breakfast: Malto meal, soy protein, soy milk, coffee 2 cups Second breakfast: 2 eggs, 5 oz rib eye steak and about 3/4 a cup of hashed browns. Lunch: 1 oz cheese stick and one slice of Oscar Mayer salami.  Snack: SoBe Protein drink  Dinner: 5 oz ham with the fat removed, 2/3 mixed green salad, rasp pom dressing, 2/3 cup mashed potatoes with gravy, 1/2 a small yam Dessert: 3 SF Peeps (everyone else wa****ting the cake and their baskets full of candy..and they were GOOD!) Bedtime snack cuz I thought I was WAY short: Microwave almond meal muffin. I wasn't too short but I would have been under 2000.  Totals: Calories: 2153 Fat: 86 Carbs: 208 Protein: 158 The good thing is that the ham was okay which means I can probably eat hot dogs again. The bad news is that I can probably eat fatty meat again. I'll continue to stay away from it but now it's there in the back of my mind. Totals for the day:

Lol.. at least you got some peeps.. yeah.  very nice protein for the day.  I ate a bit of ham myself yesterday.. well one bite.  it went ok but I dont think I will be trying anything fatty soon.  After my chicken incident the other day.  Never thought about where hot dogs fit in but dont eat them cause I figure they arent healthy.  go figure. Sounds like an interesting day for you and.. your right.. if you are late you get cold food.. I hate when ppl are late>  I am one of those ppl who are always on time if not early.  I expect the same.. I know I am bad. Have a great one and I will see you tomorrow Carla

I didn't keep track yesterday as I hardly ate anything at all.  I had stomach/bowel issues all weekend and ate little the entire weekend. Yesterday was a bit of a breakfast stromboli that was very delicious.   At the big meal I had a very small piece of ham, a few bites of mom's fresh frozen corn and some scalloped potatoes.  Seems the only thing that went down well were the thin potatoes.   Dinner was a small piece of DiGiorno Pepperoni pizza.   That was it for the day.   Today I'm feeling better and tracking my food.

Wow a lot of people felt that way today.  I wonder if its the strange weather going round.  It's very hot here in cali.  My kids are swiming in the pool right now.  I dont eat as much when I am hot as well. Hope you have a better day today. Carla
