Well, the weekend is over so we're gearing down to start up another week...After cutting lose on Saturday, my day is very low today.. Breakfast: oatmeal, 2TVP, soy milk, coffee Second Breakfast: coffee, 2 scrambled eggs with mushrooms and spinach and gorgonzola cheese (any other name for that cheese?) Lunch: nothing really. Snack of 1 oz cheese stick with a slice of ham lunch meat wrapped around it. Snack: 1 slice (the last one) of sugar free chocolate cake, 1 banana Dinner: 6 oz pork steak, 1/4 cup mashed potatoes, 1/8 cup of canned sweet corn I drank three containers (24 oz) of crystal light-like drink mix, ending with a 24 oz container of SoBe Living drink mix.  Totals for the day: Calories: 1645 Fat: 62 Carbs; 168 Protein: 116 I know this is a low day for me but I have no idea what else to have...Maybe a cup of yogurt or something. Very tired. Long fun weekend. I don't look forward to back-to-work tomorrow.

Hi Little, I'm not feeling very accountable these past few days. My dear wife starts her liquid diet on Monday night so I'm going to hit things pretty hard now that she is starting her journey. I've got to get things kicked back in gear. We are out for dinner tomorrow night and then I'm swearing off more of the carb type stuff. I've even made sure that all that we have left in the house is healthy foods. Christine has not been going overboard with her final foods, but she has indulged in those last few things before the new phase in her life begins. I'm ready to start feeling better again and have managed to keep my weight in more of a maintenance mode during this time. I'm so ready to get back on the losing track so I can hit my goal. John

Good for you being the supporting spouse, John...I have a friend who started her journey some time ago just with trying to get approval. I'm not sure she'll even be approved but she started "mourning" foods right away and must have put on 50 pounds in "final" meals...Your wife has alot of strength! And she's very blessed to have the support she's got in you... See ya.

I'm up.  I'm not sure I'm awake.  But I'm up. I have a doc appt. this morning, so in order to get gym time, I need to be there when they first open the child care.  So I'm up, but not awake. It was *hot* here this weekend.  I don't know if we officially made it to 102, but I can tell you it felt like more.  Time to get the big pool up I think. Twisted protein bar 1/4 ka****omato garlic cheese pizza 1c oikos about 2oz of a piece of fresh tuna.. I didn't care for it much at all protein shake 1c oikos 1/4 ka****omato garlic cheese pizza 1058 cals  23.28g fat  89.5g carbs  119.11g protein  8g fiber I did mow the yard yesterday.. most of it at least.  My lawn mower crapped out on me (I'm hoping it just needs some oil and an air filter...) so about 45 min during the hot part of the day.

Isnt' that always the case? When you need the lawn mower first time...craps out!  Love your new avie btw! Nice to see your smiling face. Your kids are adorable but the ones that show people's faces...I like that. I may have to do that myself. I put a picture of a blue heron that visited our neighborhood some winters ago. He was obviously so lost! A water bird in the desert..LOL Good numbers for you today...Really high on the protein and low on the cals. I'm seriously looking at over 10% (numerically) and over for the protein...AMAZING!

Yeah, the heat is getting bad here but not nearly as bad as where you are..
