hard eating day for me. Stomach was upset.
oatmeal with raisins, 3 protein shakes, wasabi peas, open face tuna melt, sf peppermint patty, cauliflower. Lost the last three...yuck!

I'm HIGHLY susceptible to stress and losing my meals because of it. I was always a stress eater now I'm a stress "barfer"...Sad shame but it's the way things are. And I'm finding that if I don't barf, I'm having near accidents with diahrea...
Good luck on the belt test. Hubby will be out of surgery and I'll have to post to let you all know how it came out...Hopefully this is the end of the stress for me for a week or so...whew.

Wow...This menu looks alot like my goal menus...snack with cheese and some fruit...Lots of veggies but lots of meat and protein too...Good job!

Well, my pouch has been really really grouchy this past week. I've also been having problems with my ulcer and ummm constipation issues..so I decided to go on a liquid diet today and so far so good.
Breakfast: Slim Fast *low carb 20g/Pro
32 oz s/f iced tea
Lunch: 18 oz Skim Milk 18g/ Pro
16 oz water
Dinner: Slim Fast *low carb 20g/Pro
medium s/f vanilla iced coffee
snack: 12 oz Skim milk 12g/Pro
16 oz water
Wasn't sure if I was going to be able to make it without food today but I did it.

Control is a big issue in my life and diet so when I feel like I've lost control or are about to lose control, I go on liquid for a while...Just to give the pouch a shape up and remind myself that I'm the one who is the boss around here...LOL.
I have problems with milk but I can surely understand wanting to get the constipation under control. When I have that, I eat three pieces of sugar free candy. Two pieces and I'm find...Three and I'm headed for the bathroom...Natural laxative for me. heheh.
Be sure and get enough liquids...dehydration is even worse on constipation..

Wondering if you can help me out. I had sugery in 05 and lost a total of 150 pounds now i'm up 50 or almost and trying to loose it again. I was told I have to eat every few hours by a doctor so that my sugar levels dont drop to low. I'm having trouble with portion control I dont think I eat too much but something is wrong if I keep gaining weight. at my last doctors appoinment I had him check my thyroid and he said it was okay.
Do you know of a guidline to follow. Some people say you can only eat three meals a day but then another chart says you should eat 7 1 oz servings of protien how in the heck can a person do that?
Needing help and dont wanna gain more weight. I dont think my sergon is around anymore he ended up having a heart attack.

You can look at the sorts of things that Special Kay is eating like this day or me on any day. 7 1 oz servings of protein isn't a problem at all. 3 ounces of chicken at lunch and 4 ounces of beef at dinner...No prob. The carbs or the empty carbs like bread and pasta are the killers where calories are concerned. They don't bring anything good to the party at all.
I would suggest you measure and weigh everything and keep track of it on fitday or similar program. And remember bread is evil...Actually no, it's not evil but too much of it is a bad thing.
Then you can figure how many calories you are taking in with what you usually do and start paring it down.
