You have a good time! I was surprised when I went for two weeks. I didn't gain a pound and actually lost a pound and some change...You'll do just find.

Your list looks good. Keep up the good work and we'll see you in a couple weeks!

I've finally realised why I'm maintaining and not losing, from posting on this thread.  I do well for several days and then have a day that blows it!  Very frustrating, but at least I know now and can watch for it.  Here's to losing and not maintaining any longer...

Breakfast:
low fat yoghurt
1 cookie

Snack:
2x English crumpets with butter

Lunch:
Lentil & Pancetta soup
1 cookie

Snack:
no fat yoghurt

Snack:
several handfuls of salted peanuts each time I went passed them - eventually put them out of sight which I should have done hours before!

Dinner:
2 slices cheesy garlic bread
mini twix bar - left over halloween candy
then thought I'd better stop eating!!!!!

Realizing that you are able to maintain is a epiphany all in itself! I never EVER before my surgery was able to maintain. I was always either gaining or losing..Never stood still. Now staying where I am is a novel thing. I like it.

I'm thinking a trip this weekend up to Buellton (Anderson Pea Soup Fame) is in order. Cold weather and Pea Soup go together...Almost like chili...Yumo.

YOur list looks really good. Last night I had the same thought. I decided to try and get my mind off snacking after dinner when I caught myself with my head in the fridge...I hit the Wii for a half hour and drank another 16 ounces of water...Then I had a 1/8 handful of sugar free chocolate covered peanuts and headed to bed. I slept pretty good.

See ya tomorrow.

I'm in the same boat as you! My eating is very good Monday thru Friday but I blow it on the weekends. I'm happy I'm able to maintain but would like to loose another 15 to 20 lbs too.

Good luck with loosing.

Wow. Short list...But it looks good. Lots of varied things and looks like enough protein. Keep up the good work.

See ya.

Hello all!
I substitute taught yesterday so my eating was sorta off.  I did write down as I ate but there are a few things I had to guess on.
b1-protein coffee
b2-2 eggs and 2 pc of 45 cal. whole wheat toast
s-south beach bar
l-half fish patty (nasty), 2 bites baked beans (mushy), and 1 bite of applesauce (luke warm)  I only counted the half of fish.
s-sunflower seeds, protein bar from Aldi's
d-one cup homemade chili (my hubby made it), 5 crackers, and 1/3 cup of shreaded cheese.
s-18 animal crackers (everyone else was eating them so I figured why not),
later half bag of popcorn.
calories (estimate)1752
protein 115
I wasn't able to work out either so I will be better today.  Have a great day and God bless, Penni
