Help! I have looked all over for Biotin Shampoo.  Does anyone know where I can get it from?  My hair is falling out like crazy.  Any other suggestions?

Increase your protein, lots.  I buy biotin shampoo at my local health food store along with biotin supplements.  Lack of protein usually causes the hair loss.  Check with your doctor though.  Good Luck.

Sorry to hear what's going on with your hair.

Biotin Shampoo is available online.  However, have you thought about taking Biotin supplements?

Also, since I assume you're over 1 year out, have you spoken to your doctor about this problem?

I'm just had surgery Dec. 01, 2008.  I'm I jumping the gun?  I just thought I could stop some of the fall out if I took a preventative measures smile:)  What do the Biotin look like? and what supplements should I be taking?

I used Biotin shampoo but I don't think it helped at all.  You can get it a Beauty Supply stores.

IMO, there's nothing you can do about the hair.  It happens, it grows back.

The only thing I was ever able to do about the hair, aside from upping the protien, was getting it cut.

You are my Role model.  I weighed 330 lbs.  I now weigh 300 two weeks out.  My goal is 145 lbs.  I can't wait to get where you are.  If you have any suggestions for me please share.  Thank you.

You're already on the right path- coming here for support.  I couldn't find a support group I could attend often enough. But, I can come here any time of the day or night with "silly" questions and get the answers I want.  This is a great community.

After that? know yourself, know your strengths and weaknesses with food, exercise, etc- and remember you CAN do this!
