Not late tonight! I had a good day AND I had alittle sunshine therapy this afternoon...I drove nearly all the way home with the top down. Yes it was cold. Yes I had the heat on full blast but the sun was out and it was so nice to enjoy the sunshine...

5:00 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA swiss miss
6:00 am 1/3 cup instant oatmeal, 1/4 cup tvp, 1 cup plain soy milk, 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Raspberry Lemonade
8:20 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese stick, 1 pc roasted turkey breast deli meat
9:30 am 12 oz Drink Mix, SoBe Living Tropical
10:20 am 1 medium orange
10:30 am 2 oz Lowrey's Beef Jerky

12:45 pm 4 oz steak, 1 cup lettuce, 1 small tomato, 1 oz zesty italian dressing

Good evening ladies.  I had a pretty good day today.  This morning I went to walmart to go grocery shopping then came home and relaxed before coming to work at 3.

Starting tomorrow I'm doing the 5 day pouch test/diet with a friend that had wls 4 years ago. She has gotten off track. To support her, I'm doing the diet with her. I don't know how I'm gonna do the first 2 days with only liquids but I will try my best.
If you have any suggestions for the first 2 days, please let me know or just pray for me.. LOL!

Breakfast: 
1 pack of instant grits
Turkey sausage patty

Snack: 
Boiled egg

Slim fast protein granola bar

1 oz of peanuts

Prayer couldn't hurt..I hear that the first two days are the worst because you're on liquids. Just keep pumping those liquids. There isn't a limit to them so nice thick protein shakes...and keep 'em coming. If you absolutely can't do the thin liquids, thicken those things up a bit and keep after it.

Good for you doing this as support for a friend. I haven't fallen off the wagon so much as I'm wondering about the mental aspects of this journey. The book I'm reading by Michelle Ritchie is helping. She's a substance abuse counselor who had wls and sees that abuse as the same as substance. In me, it is. Her approach is much like mine and she's successful so I'm staying with my OCD approach.

Your list looks great. No hint at all of a food mourning day (you know, last meal syndrome sort of thing)...and that's a good thing!
