Today was a total wash! I took all sorts of stuff to work to eat but didn't eat ANY of it. We had a going away party for our part time secretary and we had breakfast burritos. I picked the hashbrowns out and only ate what was left but it was really filling.

List for the day:

5:30 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:15 am 1/3 cup instant oatmeal, 1 scoop EAS Soy Protein, 1 cup Plain Soy Milk, 1tsp espresso powder,
7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Fruit Punch
8:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Lemonade
9:00 am 1/2 breakfast burrito with hashed browns removed. (eggs, cheese, sausage, tortilla) 4 cherries, 10 grapes, 1T cream cheese (took me well over 45 minutes to eat this!)
10:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Fruit Punch
11:30 am  1/2 breakfast burrito with hashed browns removed. (eggs, cheese, sausage, tortilla)
1:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Grapefruit Caffeinated
2:45 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Lemonade
4:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Lemonade

6:15 pm 4 oz T-bone steak, 1 cup salad with 1 oz thousand island dressing.

Totals for the day:
Calories: 1561
Fat: 81.0
Carbs: 106.4
Protein: 104.4

For some reason my tummy isn't happy with me. I feel gassy or something. I think it might have been the sausage. I haven't had sausage in a long time because it's just so fatty..maybe I should have stayed away from that stuff. I had more than enough water all day but I'll have some more later cuz I'm going out to work in the yard and move rocks. Not exactly great exercise but it keeps me off my butt and out in the yard.

How did you do?

It's not that hard to stay away from danishes cuz they usually have nuts on them (almonds) but bagels...those are tough. What helps with that is that they usually have fruit so I put the cream cheese on the fruit...especially strawberries..yumo.

I love 100 calorie kettle corn! my favorite snack when I'm sitting at 1400 or so...

I like the list..I've been missing my salads lately. I'm thinking tomorrow, chicken and salad..Thanks for the idea.

Keep up the good work. See ya.

It wasn't too bad because I had those breakfast burritos. See, I have a strategy. I wait until everyone has gotten their food and THEN I head to the spread to see what's left. Usually the good (bad) stuff is already picked over. This time TWO people brought bagels and cream cheese..I HAD to eat something. There were danish bites there too but they had almonds on them. Easy out there cuz the almonds are NO WAY. Then someone brought a cheese ball. Pecans on that...again NO WAY. In my mind, the only thing I could eat was the breakfast burrito and I just picked all the hashed browns out of it and most everything was good after that was gone. LOL. I'm so OCD it's not even funny!

Yeah, your list and numbers are all wonderful. Good job!

 Hi Girls,

1/2 the week is gone, actually more than 1/2 cuz I get Friday off to celebrate July 4th, WooWhoo!!!  I really have to know on office potluck days that its a done deal that I WILL be off track, my office is small ( only 5 of us ) and everyone brings something good (bad ) ...

On to the food :

B - sf nf peppermint pattie latte & 2 sugar cookies

S - protein coffee

S - 2 tbsp trail mix

L - leftovers, Thai Gammachu chicken-n-shrimp

S - protein delite shake

D - 4 oz shake-n-bake pork chop, 1/4c alfredo noodles & 1/2c green beans

Water / crystal lite  122oz                    Cals : 1087     Fat : 34     NetCarbs : 89     Protein : 96

I've got it in my mind to try to kickstart my weightloss again, feeling motivated to make it work, so I'm going to try to wiene  myself off the carbs and focus on keeping them under 50 a day...Wish me luck, if it works out right I hope to drop 10lbs by the end of the year ( I think this is a reasonable goal )

Bye for now...

You have the right idea on getting off the carbs. Up the calories and the protein and down the carbs...that will make it feel like more food to you and then you can lower the calories and your body may not notice...it's the first step that's the toughest...those carbs are addictive. Seriously addictive. I can't say no to bread once I start up so if I want to keep on track, no bun for me! LOL. So keep it "good" carbs and even if you get 80 grams, fruits and veggies are seriously good for you.

And the goal of 10 pounds by the end of the year is certainly do-able...

keep up the good work. See ya.

There you are! I don't see much protein but it's hard to tell with manicotti. I found an awesome recipe years ago in USA today (back when Geraldine Ferrara was running for vice-president..that's how old that recipe is...) for home made manicotti...homemade noodle wraps and all. Sort of like crepes only savory.

You do have a sad face on the hershey bar...maybe you can find some sugar free ones..I found some tiny little sugar free ones and they are goooood. Not low calorie but at least the sugar is gone. I really have a problem with the addictiveness of sugar..I used to dump. I don't think I do anymore but that isn't enough to have me eating that stuff...I'm skeerd to get back into bad habits. Fear is a good thing for me.

Keep up the good work. See ya.
