OMG...Melon overload today. See, I had this quart baggie of fruit salad from the weekend when we went to our friends' house and had pork spareribs (to DIE for actually!) and so I took that with me for lunch today. eating the ribs carefully as not to slop myself up with pork juice..LOL. But I sat after I ate the pork in the afternoon with that bag and a fork and just kept popping melon chunks into my fat yap...Head was swimming and sweaty..carb overload. Even on good carbs, it can happen..I needed caffeine SO BAD but I wouldn't do it until that mandatory half hour was up...had to sweat it out (literally). Serves me right for trying to empty the fridge of left overs. Leftovers just cause me no end of trouble. I hate being that cheap old woman that I am!
5:30 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:00 am 1 cup plain soy milk, 1/4 cup fine granule tvp, 1/2 cup blueberries, 1/3 cup quick oats
7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Strawberry
8:15 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese stick, 1 pc turkey deli meat
9:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Fruit Punch
10:40 am 3 oz pork rib meat, 2 small pieces watermelon
1:00 pm 3 oz pork rib meat, probably 2 cups mixed melon from a fruit salad
1:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Tangerine Strawberry Caffeinated
3:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix,  Strawberry
4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Lemon Berry Squeeze

6:30 pm 3 oz grilled tilapia and a small red potato with butter buds.

Not at all sure if I'm going to have dessert..just too tired. I'll include 2 cups of garlic popcorn cuz I'm pretty sure that's what I'm headed for.

Hi Dawn, I'm beat also and about to call it a night.  Thought I'd see if you posted yet, thanks for doing this.  Even though I haven't participanted in quiet some time I do read the post often.

Here it today, I ended up eating oatmeal with vanilla protein in it tonight I've felt somewhat nauseous most of the day and some burning this evening.  Not sure why but the oatmeal seems to have curbed the burning.

oatmeal on it's own gives me a carb coma but with protein, it's all good.

Make sure you are getting enough water for all that protein. High protein diet is hard on your kidneys. That and it's a no calorie cost to keep full. Your numbers are awesome! The list looks really good too..

Keep up the good work..See ya.

"Leftovers is what got me to 450", is what i always say. I still have issues throwing food away or not taking a container of food with me after I get invited to dinner at my parent's house.

Anyway,  Today was a just another day... nothing exciting. I'm just ready for my long weekend. I took Friday and monday off to get some school shopping done for my daughter and I.

My good eats..

B: 2 scrambled eggs w/ cheese, 2 strips of turkey bacon and 1 slice of light wheat toast

S: Apple/Grape bites.. lil bag with a mix of half an apple and about a handful of grapes. I found it in the produce department while in walmart.

L:  Lean Cuisine Manacotti & 4 steamed broccoli spears

D: Taco salad.. Lettuce topped w/ taco seasoned ground beef, onions, salsa, cheese and light sour cream.

S: South Beach diet protein cereal bar

Cal.. 1213
Fat.. 58.5
Carbs.. 83.9
Protein.. 95.8

That's it for me! Work is slow right now so I'm going to plan tomorrows menu on fitday til I get off at midnight.  After reading about your ribs, i'm craving them!

I usually have a good idea with the left overs...our dogs think I'm God in that direction. I'm giving the ribs to the dogs this morning. Then anything like bread I give to the birds...Maybe they think I"m God too. LOL. I don't know what the issue is with bread over meat but the bread is so much easier to dump than the meat...Maybe it's the cost of meat? Anyway, I'm getting rid of the ribs. The melon will go in the trash this morning too.

Awesome numbers for you. Short list of food too!. I'm thinking this fall I need to revamp my old recipe for manicotti (got it from USA Today, Geraldine Ferraro, years ago) and make it more WLS friendly..like using Carb Qik..Lots of new and revamped recipes in my future, I think.

Keep up the good work. See ya.

Wow...you did hit the candy jar! Well, back on the wagon for you...push that candy jar away or set it on someone else's desk...Walk away. When I have too much junk at the house and can't seem to get the boy and hubby to eat it before it calls to me...I take it to work and say "Just for you." and it disappears. Nothing like picked over muffins or sweet bread at the end of a work day to make me toss it all in the trash. For some reason at the end of the work day, it's really easy to toss that in the trash. And during the day, I don't even walk by it..Why I can say no at work and not at home is beyond me.

Tomorrow..more water, less carbs more protein..You can do it.

Keep after it. See ya.
