Accountability - Friday...
Well, I noticed some things about my numbers and list yesterday. I noticed that the carbs and calories for my day pretty much are maxed at breakfast. My breakfast is about 450-500 calories! Yikes...I'd really feel better if I could have a guilt free snack before bedtime. So today, I started a new thought. I split my breakfast in half. I took a full cup of it off the top after it was made and packed it in my lunch for the day...Obviously, I need more work on this concept..LOL
5:00 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:00 am half of this: 1/3 cup quick oatmeal, 1/4 tvp fine granule, 1 cup plain soy milk, 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
6:30 am 10 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Pink Lemonade
8:00 am the other half of breakfast (sticking quite nicely, actually)
9:00 am 10 oz sugar cookie (no sugar) herb tea with splenda/fiber
9:30 am 1 oz jack cheese, 1 pc turkey deli meat
10:15 am 12 oz Drink Mix, Tangerine Caffeinated
10:30 am 4 oz cooked shrimp, 1 oz ranch dressing, 3 pc sugar free lemon cake (what was I thinking?)
12:00 pm 12 oz Drink Mix, Tangerine Caffeinated (getting my head back together...what was I thinking!?)
1:30 pm 1 hard boiled egg
2:15 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Fruit Punch
3:20 pm 1 small peach
4:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Pink Lemonade
4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Lemon Berry (only half of it..)
5:30 pm...bison burger from Trader Joes, 1/2 grilled onions and 2 thin slices of tomato...with a slice of cheddar
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1659
Fat: 62.0
Carbs: 141.5
Protein: 146.3
I totally lost control today over sugar free lemon cake...totally lost control. I felt like crap after I ate all that stuff...sweats, shakes, nausea..why did I do that? I tried to do a mental self check to see what the heck was the matter. Am I mad at myself? Mad at someone else? I have no idea. But I just barely caught myself back up again and stopped the mindless crazy eating. I actually thought about not posting that cake..how sick is that? I mean, at least be honest...sigh...Where did I go wrong? I have no idea but I did go right after that when my head was swimming and feeling pukey...
How did you do? I'll do better tomorrow. We all will.

Good evening, ladies. Today was a good day but my eating was bad. I didn't eat much. I dont have days like this often but food is not my friend today. I don't know if it's my nerves or my pouch being a brat! I'm having some serious anxiety issues all week.
I'm going back to school in a couple weeks after being out for many years and I'm a little nervous that working full time and school full time is going to be too much for me. I hear the nurses at my job tell me how hard the nursing program is and I'm freaking out a little. I don't want to let myself down or my parents down. I know, I'm too old to be worried about my parents but they are really happy for me because they know it's what I've always wanted to do. I'm happy being a Medical Assistant but I promised myself that if I lost the weight, I was going back to sch0ol.
OK, enough of Kay's Drama. On to my short list of food

L: Lean Cuisine frozen dinner
D: Stuffed chicken breast
S: 2 SF Popsicles

Hey, going back to school is a big deal! Congrats on the step up...You can do the hard stuff...Really you can. You have the power within you to do this..I'm so jealous of you...Just be sure to put YOURSELF first because you worked so hard to get healthy..Don't risk your own health...You come first. scale back if you find yourself overwhelmed.
You sure didn't eat much! Be sure to get enough water...If you have to add protein shakes, I might look into that..Just to keep up your strength and mental capacity. When you don't eat, your brain doesn't have the fuel it needs. I tend to get loopy.

I surface very now and then.... sadly my 10 lbs gain has become 35 lbs now. Today I am determined, as I can be, to start doing right..... again!
I know my eating is not good today but I had a wake-up call on the scales today and it about scared me to death.
Today's Food:
EAS Protein Drink with coffee
low fat cheese (1 slice)
2 boiled eggs
fried in butter mushrooms
2 pieces of turkey sausage
fresh tomatoes... out of my garden

soy milk

Whatever gets me to do what I already know I need to do...whether that's panic or fear...it all works.
Just remember. it's like a big cruise ship. It doesn't stop on a dime and doesn't turn around on a dime either. So small things will turn into the right direction...Just keep after it. There are detours and there are DETOURS...
