Accountability - Wednesday
The day was good. I tell you! Going 18 days from my last paycheck, I went nuts stocking back up today...Things were on sale and I had saved up coupons..We spent $150 on groceries! But we have a great deal of meals in the freezer. Tomorrow: hamhocks and beans - vegetable stew...Already planned and staged.
The only thing wrong with the day is that I didn't have enough water.
B: protein pancakes and sugar free syrup..split the serving in two and ate both before we left for shopping..But we were up at 4:30..ate at 5:30 and then again at 7:30..
2B: 1/2 an omelet shared with dh..We had this steak omelet at IHOP...I don't usually like those because they add pancake batter to their omelets...filler, in my mind.
No lunch but I did have several sugar free sugar cookies..spread out througout the day. I counted it as 3 servings of sf cookies, bite size 4 pc...Probably pretty close
Never made it to the movies cuz the day got warmer than the weather guy told us and the cooler wasn't going to keep the meat...Rescheduled for the weekend..probably.
Dinner: 5 oz baked chicken breast, 3 oz baked yam
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1449
Fat: 74.7
Carbs: 111.4
Protein: 106.1
Now I'm having another bottle of for dessert..
How did you do? I'm okay with this day..Alittle low but that's perfectly alright. It's good practice, actually..

Your hamhock and beans sounds wonderful. A nurse made cabbage, ground beef and bean soup and it was soooo good so she gave me the recipe. I'm gonna try and make it on one of my days off.

D: Hamburger patty, cheese, lettuce, light mayo and mustard on a wheat sandwich thin

Having a full freezer of meals is a good thing! I had a busy day for me lately. Went for a walk after breakfast, went to the zoo and then out to dinner at Applebees. The zoo and dinner were free for Veterans Day. We just got home after leaving in the early afternoon.

Kay- I am making ha a casserole tomorrow with hamburger, cabbage,brown rice and tdiced tomatoes with spices. I made it once before but with tomato soup, it was all right but a little bland, so I thought some of those spiced diced tomatoes would spice it up a bit.
