Do you by chance know what amount of sugar they recommend that we stay under?

I have to go by percentage..Mostly cuz I dumped on a cough drop once. I figured I was safe at 4.9 grams of sugar but after I got sick I discovered that the whole cough drop was 5 grams..nearly 99.9% sugar..

I stay as close to less than 10% sugar in anything..I've gone as high as 25% sugar but that's with a bunch of other stuff consumed at the same time..It's really a personal preference..

Thanks, someone asked me and I didn't know what to tell them.  I keep a food journal on myfitnesspal.com and was shocked at how much sugar I am actually eating!
