LAPBAND

Hey Guys, Firstly this site is great, it has really provided me with a great deal of information.  I was just wondering if any of you guys have had the Lapband? It seems most of you have had the RNY. Really interested in having the procedure, but trying to find all my sources of information before making such an extreme decision. Any help and experiences about your LapBand in your twenties would be great, Thanx so much

Hey, i had lap band 3 weeks ago.  There usually aren't too many lap bands on the "20's" board.  Go to the lap band board.  There are people of all ages there but everyone is sooooooo helpful and there are a lot of 20's in there.

Im 23 and I had lapband surgery six months ago and have lost 46 pounds. I got my first fill on friday and am already down another 3 pounds. I love it. I do find that the Lapband board offers more lapband specific issues and is very helpful. Goodluck!
