I'm really back now
Hey everyone!!
I haven't posted posted in a while because I have been so sick.
I had my lap RNY on 1/15. The first two weeks weren't so bad, but then I went back to work and I could not stop dry heaving. I couldn't eat, or keep anything down, my mouth was very acidic. I was miserable. We called the doctor and he prescribed some stuff for naseau. I wasn't necessarily feeling sick to my stomach, it was more of a reflux. Of course that medication did not work. So I just thought I was experiencing normal symptoms of the surgery. Well they continued, and continued, and i was at the point where i could barely walk. So we called the DR. late on a saturday night and he said that we needed to go to the ER. Long story short, i was so sick due to a pre-existing sinus infection that i was out of the office for 13 weeks.
Now I'm back and i'm feeling soooo much better. It will be 3 months post-op on the 15th and I have lost 60 pounds!! I will post some pics very soon.
