On my way to Gatlinburg

Hey everyone. I haven't posted in awhile, just been staying busy with Christmas in only 5 days. I don't know how many of you have heard of Gatlinburg, but it's part of the Smokey Mountains and is a big tourist attraction in the Southeast. Anyway, I just thought that I'd share the fact that I am going skiing while I'm there. I've never been skiing and in all honesty before my surgery 3 months ago, never saw myself being able to. I'll probably break a leg or something, but it will be worth it. It's great being able to experience things for the first time after losing weight. Anyways, I better hit the door. WoooT! Congrats on your new adventure... I am a snowboarder but skiing isnt so bad.  its a great workout!  And It is so much fun, I am sure you know this already.  let us all know how it goes.

Wahooo, Gatlinburg is awesome!!  I hope you had fun skiing, definitely fill us all in on how it went!!!!!   I know I'm very excited to head to Tahoe and try out skiing again soon!!!!!!!  Merry Christmas :)

Yep, the trip was awesome, but unfortunately I wasn't able to go skiing. It hadn't came a good snow in Gatlinburg yet and the night before I went to ski, it poured down rain which washed away all of the man-made snow they had blown. I'm probably going back in February though, and I will definitely be going skiing then. Even though I didn't get to ski, it was a great trip. Something I needed. I got hit on several times, which completely blows my mind. Anyway, I better get going. I think I'm going to go work out to get away from the family for a bit.
