Eatin' Good in the 20's Neighborhood - TGIF!
The week is over, the weekend just beginning and it is FREEZING here. I think the heater in my apartment is on the fritz - BRRRRR
. The thermostat in here says it is 68 degrees, but I think it is more like 65. BRRRR. I'm thinking of pulling out my gloves to keep my fingers warm while I type. It was a relatively good food day over here, how about for you?
9:30 - 3 oz espresso, 6 oz Calorie Countdown Milk, 3 oz Skim milk, 1 oz Davinci sf vanilla syrup
Noon - 1/2 a golden delicious apple, 1/2 cup of dry kashi go lean cereal
20 oz water
3pm - 3/4 cup of mini ravioli in meat and tomato sauce
20 oz water
6pm - 3/4 cup sukiyaki
I'm planning on having some mixed nuts later tonight, maybe the other half of my apple. How's it going out there?

Not the best eating day for me, but not terrible...
breakfast - big latte
later - about 6 slices of turkey and a string cheese
lunch time - reduced sugar granola bar
later in the afternoon - grazed at Costco - sampled - spaghetti, a ravioli, some chips, a piece of a chicken potsticker, a piece of beef tamale - I think I had enough to count as a bariatric meal
later - about a cup of lf cottage cheese and about 20 cheeze it crackers
dinner - a slice of pineapple and canadian bacon pizza!!!!!!
later - another slice!!!
A very grazy day! filled with a few junk food kind of things I don't normally chose. Tomorrow will be better - sunday weigh-in is looming and I've already seen a nice loss this week - so I don't want to see it go the other way...
For a while I worked as a "product demonstrator" aka lady in a hairnet who hands out free food - and I can definately see how you could get a bariatric meal from just walking around Costco or Wal-Mart on a Saturday. There was one weekend I was handing out free samples of ice cream, another lady was handing out weenies, another lady was handing out pizza, another small cups of gatorade, another Sun Chips, and another was handing out reduced sugar cupcakes. Not the healthiest of food (especially the ice cream I was handing out!) but a free meal none the less.
