Eatin' Good in the 20's Neighborhood!

How was your weekend?  Mine was a little boring and COLD.  The heater in my apartment has been on the fritz on and off since Friday and unfortunately Wisconsin is COLD this time of year - with the temp getting down in the -40 range with windchill - brrrrrr.  We have a water heater that runs through the whole apartment building, which means you cannot determine the temp, you get whatever the landlord decides to set the temp at.  Right now the heater is actually cold to the touch.  GREAT.  So I have had my handy-dandy space heater on all day, and still my atomic clock thingy that reports the room temp says it is 68 degrees in here!  brrrr.  Anyway, on with today's menu.... 9am - 3 oz espresso, 6 oz calorie countdown milk, 3 oz steamed skim milk, 1 oz sf davinci vanilla syrup 20 oz water 11am - 3/4 cup sukiyaki (the last of my batch...*sigh*...back to the drawing board I guess) 20 oz water 2pm - 5 bacon wrapped waterchestnuts (again, last of my batch...) 4pm - 1/4 open-faced Italian sub (1 oz deli ham, 1 oz genoa salami, 1 oz pepperoni, 1 oz provalone cheese toasted on a slice of french bread and topped with a couple rings of red onion, 2 slices of tomato and shredded lettuce...mmmmm) 20 oz water 7:30pm - Mixed nuts while watching the PACK-ATTACK! GO GREEN BAY! Pretty decent over here.  How is it going out there? EDITED TO ADD - Not decent anymore...depressed..deeply saddened...Packers, what happened? Now we're not going to the Super Bowl!

Today was a mixed bag.  Today I officially said goodbye to my BFF, FOOD. 11am - Slimfast 2pm - Egg salad sandwich (2 boiled eggs, ff mayo, yellow mustard, 2 pieces white bread...I know, I know) with Baked chedder/sour cream chips. 6:30pm - Ohhhh sweet mercy.  3 fall-off-the-bone tender ribs from Sticky Fingers, 1/2 c mac & cheese, few bites of baked beans, and cheese/bacon/ranch/jalepeno fries.  With an UNsweet tea.  LOL  I felt like one of those people ordering extra bacon with lite syrup.  I feel stuffed and miserable now but man was it good.  Tomorrow, the liquids and I become acquaintences.

mmmm, Sticky Fingers - I miss that place since moving from s carolina to AZ....I actually ate my "last supper" there - full rack of ribs sampler, macaroni and cheese, and potato salad. That was almost a year ago....tonight I went to Bucca Di Beppo a family style italian chain and was stuffed just on a plate of salad...

It is freezing in Boston too!  My heat is super expensive (big old drafty apartment) so I spent a lot of yesterday under my electric blanket. :)  9:30am - 1/2 weight smart banana bread oatmeal 11am - Reeses peanut butter heart (i know, but at least i went to the gym immediately after, and at least there is some protein in there!!) 1pm - Leftover braised lamb shank 4pm - 4 saltines with peanut butter 7:30pm - 3 oz meatballs w/tomato sauce and ricotta cheese For a grand total of about 900 calories and 70g protein!

I ate baaaaaaad yesterday. Spent most of the day cleaning and organizing so eating took a back seat. Since I am starting my 4 week body makeover/Exer-thon today I figured what the heck and just had a 'bad day'. B - 1 slice of whole wheat french toast made with egg whites, 1 slice turkey bacon, few bites of oven baked hash browns Really wasnt a set lunch/dinner... just munched here and there between cleaning/organizing few bites of chili cheese dip (lean beef, salsa, LF sour cream, LF cheese) with baked blue corn chips, 1/2 a SW egg roll, 4 cheese sticks, couple bites cottage cheese.. I think that was it? Oh and half a cupcake... niiiceeee. haha.

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

I was overly tempted when Mom and I went to the grocery store yesterday because I hadn't eaten lunch yet......HUGE MISTAKE! Breakfast: 2 eggs sunny side up, 2 slices of microwave bacon, 2 slices of Nature's Own Bread, 1 tbsp. butter and 4 oz. orange juice Lunch: 2 slices of Sara Lee whole grain bread, 1 tbsp. peanut butter, 1 tbsp. grape jelly, 1 serving (13 chips) of Flat Earth Tangy Tomato Ranch veggie chips, 1/4 cup Brach's Double Chocolate Dipped Peanuts, 8 oz. of Diet Cranberry Grape Juice Dinner: 5 grilled shrimp marinated in a lime-garlic-butter, 1/2 sweet potato with butter, cheese, cinnamon-sugar and sour cream, 2 bacon wrapped cream cheese stuffed jalapenos, 8 oz. of Diet Cranberry Grape Juice Snack: 3/4 cup Brach's Double Chocolate Dipped Peanuts 1,700 calories for the day and consumed 75 ounces of water for the day. I am really bad on the weekends about getting 100 + ounces of water in but at least that is all I drink.
