Did you get your exerthon on today??
Hey ya'll! I'm totally psyched about the exerthon :-D I'm gonna try to do a daily or every other daily post to help keep MYSELF accountable....if you wanna respond please do...if not, that's all good too!
Today
Jan 21- 35 mins of exercise
I walked for 30 mins and ran for 5 mins! I'm not really a runner, so I'm trying to slowly build myself up...
So...how'd you do?!?!
Today 01/21/08
15 minutes on the treadmill (I walk 3 min. at 3.0mph and run 2 min. at 4.5mph intervals)
15 minutes on the bike at a steady 97-100 rpms
I usually do about 15 minutes of weights but I had to leave and go home because I had to wash my hair. It sounds like a horrible excuse but you have no idea how long it takes to do my hair. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to doing my hair. I'll do weights the rest of the week.

75 minutes today on 1-21-08. Leslie Sansone's Walk Away The Pounds and Walk Away Your Waistline. A total of 5 miles. I took a small water breal in between videos. I love her. The walks incorporate kicks, knee lifts, sides steps, kick backs and upper body exercises. I have been doing her videos since a couple of days after my surgery.

It is good to be a loser!!! LOL Her videos are about $9-$12 at Walmart. The $12 dvd(Walk Away Your Waisteline) even comes with a belt /w arm pullys that you do along with the video. I strap on some 1.5 pound weights on each ankle and that video kicks my butt!!!

OMG... I have The Grind from MTV on VHS. I forgot all about that one . I bought it years and years ago. Eric is hot!
DH and I went for a 60 minute brisk walk (in 6 inches of freshly fallen and still falling snow!) and ran for 2 blocks before deciding that falling on our rears wasn't worth it. Tomorrow I'm trying yoga. I am probably the least coordinated person you'll ever meet, so we'll see how that goes.
