Eatin' Good in the 20's Neighborhood - SUPER Monday?

I dunno.  Yesterday was Super Sunday because of the big football game - tomorrow is Super Tuesday with all of the state primaries...So it is almost as if Today is the ******* middle child in need of a little love.  So spread some love for SUPER DUPER MONDAY!  YAAAAAY MONDAY! But seriously, yesterday was not the best food day, so today I tried to make up for it... 7:30am - 4 oz espresso, 3 oz skim milk, 4 oz carb countdown milk, 1 oz sf davinci vanilla syrup (playing with the recipe...I know it is revolutionary...) 10 oz water 9am - 1 ka****LC honey almond flax granola bar 20 oz water 1:30pm - 2 skewers of leftover sautee` babie` (prounounced sah-teh bah-bee - and it is basically grilled marinated pork) 20 oz water 3pm - 6 oz yogurt w/ 2 tablespoons kashi go lean cereal 20 oz water 6pm - 9 slices of pepperoni, 2 slices provalone cheese, 3 cracked wheat crackers Muuuuuch better.  How about out there?  How's that last day of the LD going for you Jennifer?

I like super Monday.  Anything to make Monday feel a little better. :) B - 3/4 weight smart banana bread oatmeal L - tuna salad w/miracle whip, red fat cheese, walnuts and spinach on a low carb tortilla S - 1/2 oh yeah protein wafer D - Amazing mini quiche, first time I made them.  I made them with 1/2 whole eggs 1/2 egg white, red fat cheese, skim milk, ham, spinach, onion and chive.  I cooked 6 of them in a muffin tin - sooooo good!!! I too didn't do so well yesterday either.  I had the weirdest sick episode.  I ate a few normal things but my stomach was feeling a little upset.  Then I had 1/2 cupcake and I got sooo sick.  I don't think it was traditional dumping, instead it was like my whole GI tract went through these INTENSE spasms.  My mouth was watering like 500 gallons per minute and then I went to the bathroom again with these crazy spasms and then I was ok.  It was all over pretty fast, but SO weird!  Anyway, whether it was the cupcake or not I am definitely staying away from those!

Sounds like the "foamies" - I get foamies when I eat something that is dense, dry or if I don't chew something well enough.  You get a lot of saliva, spasms, kind of a heavy feeling - glad it passed quickly for you!

Breakfast- South Beach Living High Protein Cereal Bar (I'm addicted to the Cinnamon Raisin flavor!!) and 3 ozs of orange juice diluted with 6 ozs water 10 ozs water Morning Snack- 10 slices of turkey pepperoni w/ a reduced fat cheese stick and a Diet Pepsi Max (I know I shouldn't drink pop but sometimes I need to have it!!) Lunch-Light and Fit Raspberry yogurt, one nectarine 20 ozs water (at the gym) Afternoon Snack- South Beach Living High Protein Cereal Bar Dinner-10 turkey pepperoni, a reduced fat cheese stick and a Diet Pepsi Max (hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!) Nighttime Snack- 1/4 cup of almonds, 16 ozs water  Right Now- 1/2 cup of Kashi Go Lean Crunch Cereal and 16 ozs water So that puts me at about 64 g. protein for the day and I'm too tired to estimate my caloric intake...I should probably get some more water in, I didn't realize I had slacked on that today! See, this keeps me honest!

Pretty good day for me... B-Protein Shake w/1 cup skim milk L-1/2 block Ramen noodles (beef flavored) w/ 1 stick Mozz cheese S-6 oz light and fit yogurt w/ 1 stick Mozz cheese D-2 tbls Kashi Go Lean Cereal (thanks Amy I am addicted!)      2 Cups Popcorn

 

101.4 oz water today...go me!

I started food logging yesterday but stopped after lunch... I am eating quite a bit of bread carbs and not enough veggies so thats going to be my focus for this week! The starbucks bfast sammies are loaded with carbs, Im going to make my own version at home to save (their english muffins are thick) and I need to work on better snacks! B - 1/2 LoFat Starbucks Bfast Sammie S - rest of sammie L - 2oz deli turkey, 6 rasbperries, 6 baby carrots, small container of light n fit yogurt, 3 french fries (from friends lunch she ordered) S - 1/4th cu cottage cheese, Fiber One Bar D - TJs lo carb tortilla filled with less than 1/4th cu rice, 3oz mexican style chicken, sprinkle of RF cheese, little LF sour cream and tomatillo sauce. Salad (spinach, leaf lettuce, carrots, cukes, broccoli slaw, dried cranberries) with FF dressing (maybe LF?) S - scoop of SF vanilla pudding with 2 mushed up SF vanilla cookies

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

There's no vote here in Wisconsin until the 19th, but you can bet your sweet bippy that I'll be there.  And yeah, if your state is one of the Super Tuesday states GO VOTE!  Give the 20 somethings a voice!
