Howdy 20 somethings! Busy busy busy!  That has been my week, but it is a good kind of busy, although I regret not having as much time to stop by the boards as I would like .  But I've still had time to eat - so here we go... 7:30 - 4 oz espresso, 6 oz skim milk, 1 oz sf davinci vanilla syrup, w/ a teaspoon of grated dark chocolate to make it special 10 oz water 10am - 1 ka****LC honey almond flax granola bar 10 oz water 1pm - 4 oz bourbon chicken  20 oz water 4pm - 4 oz chili and 1 oz shredded cheddar cheese on top 10 oz water 5pm - 1 white chocolate truffle (white chocolate and crumbled almond as a shell, filled with strawberry fuff - oh my) 10 oz water 7:30pm - 1/4 chicken stacker sandwhich from IHOP (top half of the bun off - basically, chicken breast, provalone cheese, diced green peppers, diced onions, a slice of tomato, lettuce and a little bit of ranch dressing on asagio cheese bread - and 2 onion rings) And funny story about how my day ended - okay, my mom and my sister and my nephew came to visit me and my younger sister.  We, and a friend of mine, all went out to IHOP for dinner.  Poor DH had to work, so he didn't get to go.  Anyway, when we were done with dinner it was time for Kyle to get off work, so they were going to drop me off at Wal-Mart (where Kyle works) so my nephew could see Kyle (Sam, my two year old nephew, had been asking for Kyle ever since I got in the car with him, because his uncle Kyle is his hero).  Well, we pull into the parking lot and I see our car running, but no one is in it.  So I go in the store and page Kyle, who tells me that he hadn't gone anywhere during work and didn't know how the car got on.  HE LEFT THE CAR ON FOR 9 HOURS.  He forgot to turn it off when he went in to work.  We are so lucky the car didn't get stolen, or that the car still even runs after that abuse.  We're getting an oil change tomorrow, but wow - lucky are we.   Anyway - Have a good weekend!

OMG that is hilarious! Let's see I had 25oz of protein thru the tube and 20+ oz of Crystal Lite by mouth.  I also had 4oz of broth.  I'm trying to build up but it's hard when you're not interested in your menu choices.

I know how you feel - it is tough when your prospects aren't that appetizing.  How much longer do you have to tube feed?

I am pretty sure I only have to tube feed for 14 days because after that I can have the protein shakes and stuff by mouth

....was that an instance of the letters "DH" not standing for DEAR Husband? ...I'm finally starting to feel a little better, I was a zombie yesterday, and most of today - on top of that it has been raining all day here, and that just makes me feel more miserable, I get depressed if I don't see the sun for more then 24 hours - one of the reasons I had to move back to "The Valley of the Sun." It should clear out tonight and we'll be back to sunshine and the 70's tomorrow. We have had such a wet winter that the mountains that are all around here are literrally green right now from all of the wildflowers that have sprouted, I can't wait for March and April when the entire desert will erupt in color, I'm already planning hikes....Actually, if I feel good enough, I will go to the desert botanical garden to check out early blooming stuff tomorow (I'm a member!)....anyways, food: AM - coffee with creamer late morning - a roasted chicken breast from the hot counter at the grocery store... lunch - five slices of ham and a string cheese mid afternoon - some stir-fried veggies with beef dinner - home-made pot-roast with carrots and a few pieces of red potatoes evening - ham and turkey rolled in string cheese shreds good day for me - yesterday was bad, bad, bad - not enough protein in the house...

It is still  "dear husband".  He has had a looong week and is still getting over the flu.  Just goes to show how tired he is, but at first it was "damn husband" for at least a couple minutes...but just a couple. I am jealous of your green!  We have had SO MUCH SNOW and we're supposed to get 12-16 more inches on Sunday night.  I cannot remember a winter where we have gotten even half this much snow.  I would love to see botanical gardens.  I hope you have a wonderful time (you should take pictures!).
