Yup.  This is the first day of my college spring break, though it isn't going to be much of a break for me.  I've got HUGE research projects due shortly after break so I have a a stack of 17 books to read and I'm planning on getting 10-12 of them read by Friday.  Yeah.  Wish me luck.  So I've devoted 7 hours a day to reading books (unfortunately not OH boards ) though I will be stopping by when I can.   I'm sort of having an academic breakdown.  I got 2 D's on exams I got back last week.  I don't get D's.  Now the obvious excuse to make for myself would be - I've been physically not at my best due to the complication that will not end, but last semester I was in the hospital for a total of 4 weeks and I managed to get all 5 A's and a B, so D's are just not going to be good enough for me.  I got the second D back yesterday, so I was too busy having a pitty party for myself to post.  I'm feeling more optimistic today - so here we go... 9am - 4 oz espresso, 6 oz 2% milk, 1 oz sf hazelnut Davinci syrup 20 oz water 11:30am - 1 slice cheese pizza on thin crust 20 oz water 3pm - 3 oz peanuts, 1 oz peanut butter M&M's 20 oz water 6pm - 3/4 cup ravioli's TOO MANY CARBS and no veggies or fruit!  So if I decide to have something else tonight, it will be some kind of protien salad...maybe chicken fajita salad...hmmm...I could get behind that.  So, how you doin?

Aww sweetie I;m so sorry.  I know you don't want to believe it but you DO have a valid excuse.  This year is totally different from last, different teachers, different classes.  Was one of the d's from the teacher you argued with?  If so, I'd immediately bru**** off lol.  (hugs) Breakfast: 3 soy chicken nuggets with 1oz cheese and 1tbsp alfredo sauce for dipping Lunch: NSA Carnation IB with skim milk Dinner: smoked chicken, green beans, and a little baked potato Yes, I did terrible eating today but we were out shopping.  I should have tossed a Kashi bar in my purse or something.  I just totally wasn't thinking about food.

Soy chicken nuggets?  Hmmm.  Were they any good? I really don't think that looks terrible,  Not enough...but not terrible.  How are you feeling?

Yes they were awesome.  They're the Morningstar (green box) kind.  You hardly even notice the difference

I am such a creature of habit, that's why weekends are bad for me... breakfast skipped... 10:30 am large coffee with non-dairy creamer and splenda 11:30 four big slices of turkey breast with a string cheese and honey mustard sauce for dipping 2:30 half of a lean cuisine pannini sandwhich, a cup of tortilla soup 3:00 hungry again, ate four whole grain crackers with monterey jack cheese meted on them 3:30-5:00 consumed two Heineken Light beers... 6:30 dinner out at a restaurant - two cups of coffee, one small greek salad - ate most of it, plus about five french fries and two bites of my wife's calzone 9:00 currently working on a Guiness - Hay, it's spring break right? Sorry about the bad grades Amy, but you'll pull through, you had a rough few weeks, but it sounds like things are getting better right? No more exploding fistulas?

The fistula has grown back.  It isn't as huge as it was when it exploded, but it's growing like a mini-Stewie Griffin shaped alien trying to escape from right under my rib cage.  So it looks like more surgery  but I won't know for sure until a week from tomorrow.  So one day it will be better, hopefully soon or else my GPA is going to take a seriou****  But there could be worse things I suppose. I like the Guiness, fully in the spirit of St. Pat's day and spring break right?  The only way it could have been better were if the Guiness were green.

Yeah, kind of part st. patties day coming, part spring break, and part getting psyched for my trip to Europe with my brother coming up in three weeks - the first three days are in Dublin!....sorry to hear your fistula is growing back, that sucks...I couldn't imagine being reminded of Brock everytime I looked down at my ribs!
