Eatin' Good in the 20's Neighborhood - Spring Break Day 2
Got through 3 books since Friday, so I am on course to make this a very productive spring break. Prudence (my fistula) has started growing back, but at least she isn't as huge as she was when she exploded, though the fact that she keeps growing probably means more surgery, but I won't know for sure until a week from tomorrow. Let's just hope not. That would be great.
10am - 3 oz peanuts
20 oz water
1pm - 1/2 a pork kabob (marinated pork cubes, thick slices of zuccini, 1 1/2 inch squares of red and green peppers and 1 1/2 inch squares of red onion)
16 oz water
4pm - 3/4 cup ravioli
5pm - 4 oz espresso, 12 oz 2 % milk, 1 oz sf hazelnut davinici syrup and a mini dove chocolate bunny...(I am reading a book called Chocolate on Trial so when Kyle and I went down to the gas station to get a movie and I saw the bunny there I couldn't resist!)
40 oz water
7:30pm - 2/3 a Italian BMT salad from subway (the Italian BMT sub, except on a salad - w/ ham, salami, pepperoni, provalone cheese, slices of cukes, tomatos, red onion all on lettuce - mmmmm)
20 oz water
Working on another 4 oz espresso, 12 oz 2% milk, 1 oz sf hazelnut davinci syrup - I'll be up for a while.
Tomorrow I am going to experiment making my own peanut chicken on rice noodles....that should be fun...right? So how is the food out there?

L - some cantaloupe
S - bbq soy crisps
D - 2oz lamb (drool) with 1 wedge "macafoni" and cheese (so good, just like he real thing!)
Yes, I had another sucky eating day. I just don't do well on the weekends (et tu, Michael?). I have had about 40oz liquids thus far but still have cotton mouth. Ugh. The good news is, I got some super awesome stuff from the grocery today on sale so this week I'm shooting to do better.
Today I went on an hour and 45 minute hike up a mountain and it was AMAZING!! I felt sooo good after finishing, and wasn't as exhausted as I was expecting. Next time I am taking my camera to take some pictures!!!
late breakfast---1 1/2 eggs, 1 piece of whole wheat toast
snack on the hike---1 babybel cheese
lunch---1 power crunch protein bar, 1 cup of cinnamon toast crunch, 4 strawberries
dinner---8 mushroom tortellini with vodka sauce
snack---fresh tomatoes and mozzarella with a splash of olive oil and salt and pepper (my new favorite snack!!!)
I am also setting my alarm 45 minutes earlier than usual so I can work out before going to work!!!!!!!!!!!

you all did way better then I did....I grazed all day and all but one of the "meals" I ate were things I wouldn't consider 'good for me"....some of the things I shoved down my throat today:
four slices of turkey breast, 2 string cheeses, five whole grain crackers, a jack in the box chicken fajita pita, an order of onion rings!!!!, about 8 raviolis, five or six forkfuls of mac and cheese, a guiness beer, at least four cups of coffee...and a diet mountain dew...
Where's the self-control???? At least tomrrow is a weekday....
