So today was my first day back to work.  It has been good.  Everyone freaks out when they see me, which is nice!  Anyway, we have a lot of trainings, and the company sponsoring the trainings generally provide us with lunch.  HOLY CRAP.  First of all, I'm never hungry, so that's not a problem.  Today, one set of training had BBQ, and the one I was in had Pizza.  It was terrible.  Don't get me wrong, I had absolutely no desire to eat the pizza.  The smell made me want to vomit.  I had to sit through the entire hour covering my nose.  Not too mention watching other people shoving their faces made it worse.  Is it like this for everyone?  I don't mean to be rude about the other people, bu****ching them eat is disgusting to me!

It's amazing how after having this surgery you look at the way the "typical" person stuffs their face and you realize exactly why obesity is such an epidemic nowadays...BTW, watch out for sabateurs at work who will go out of their way to tempt you or guilt-trip you into eating things you shouldn't be eating. If it hasn't happened to you yet, trust me it will - it may be at work or at home or with friends and the motivations vary, but it will happen - be strong!

I totally understand what you're going through. I had a few weeks where food just seemed terrible! The smell, the taste, the look of it all repulsed me. But, then it was gone and all my old food cravings were back. So, enjoy it while you can! :)
