Are the devil!!  Omg, I had the worst time last night.  I tried a scrambled egg... My pouch does not like scrambled eggs, at all!  I was throwing up for 20 minutes.  After that, I was afraid to eat anything!!!

Hard boiled eggs are awesome.  Any other way, you get too much air.  I can't eat 'em.

Which surgery did you have? I had the band and I know eggs are a big nono for me. They just wont go through no matter how much I chew!

I had gastric bypass.  The doc said I could go ahead and try them, and I love eggs...  Not anymore.  Brock, I might try the hard boiled way.  My sister was boiling one for my chicken salad last night, and after I got sick... I said don't worry bout that egg!

For some reason, early on I had similar problems with scrambled eggs, but poached or boiled eggs worked better, as long as I remembered to chew, chew, chew....I remember going through a period of time when I went on a deviled egg kick...also, remember, just cuz it doesn't work or taste good now, doesn't mean it won't be different in a few months, so try them again down the road...

lol! How's this...i loved eggs before as well....and i was actually doing well eating them for the first 2months....THEN i dont know what the hell happend but i cant eat an egg if my life depended on it!! its gross to me now, which SUCKS b/c they are good source of protein...but oh well its not worth the feeling i get after i eat it! haha. the dr said that it MAY be different in couple months to try again...so why dont u jus lay off them for atleast a month and TRY again.

I have my eggs poached and they go down great, nice and moist and no extra air!  Sorry you had a rough time.

Yea it took me a good 6 months after surgery to finally get eggs to go down.

I HATED eggs pre-op, but now they're decent.  I find that a 5-minute poached egg has just enough yolk to help it go down smoothly.  Scrambled are do-able when topped with some melty cheese and salsa. Heather
