great news!!!!
So.... I prayed for a sign that I was heading in the right direction Monday morning as I drove to work. I wanted to get some assurance that the lap-band or WLS in general was the right thing to do. I prayed to God for a sign, that he would give me some direction and help me to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is the right path. I had a long day at work, I was tired and stressed. Upon my arrival at my home, I checked the mailbox, grabbed the stack of letters and took my children out into the back yard to play. I was thumbing through the mail and what do I see? A letter from united health care, so I quickly threw the other letters onto the picnic table and proceeded to rip into the letter.What does it say? What does it say? So... I plop down into the chair while reading the letter........... What happens next, you may ask...
Well, its quite funny because at the exact moment my eyes caught the words I had been longing for "you are approved" and then the lawn chair snapped beneath the weight of me and I hit the ground with a thud! What a sign... Well, I had to ask for it! But guess what!!! Its the last piece of furniture that I will ever worry about breaking, because not only was I approved, I had my EGD done yesterday and it went smoothly, but I also got my surgery date today!!! Hip Hip Horray!!! On May 12th at approximately 11:30 AM, I will embark on my weight loss journey! Yay
