Completely normal.  There could be a lot of reasons, but all are completely normal.  Your body needs to adjust.  If you are following your diet and exercise, you are going to be fine.  But if it will make you feel better, just double check to make sure you're doing everything you need to.  If you are not tracking your food, start (at this point it is a good idea to measure everything - you may be eating less or more than you think).  Try to step it up for the exercise - add and extra lap, an extra 5 minutes - whatever is good for you - or switch activities as you are able.  Make sure you're drinking enough water (fat leaves your body through urine so being dehydrated means your body cannot flush out the fat effectively).  But my bet would be that in 2-3 more days you're going to start dropping again.

First a plateau is when you dont lose pounds or inches for four weeks or longer...  not losing for a week could be considered a 'stall' if you want to label it... but its really just a normal part of weightloss. Many times when the scale stops the tape measure moves so keep up with your inches as well.

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

Extended TT, lipo, fat injections - 11/2011

BA/BL/Arm Lift - 7/2014

Scar revision on arms - 3/2015

This happened to me the second and third week after surgery. The first two weeks I lost 19 pounds then nothing for more than a week and a half. I think that the body goes into a bit of shock and decides that we are starving and puts the breaks on losing any more so quickly. However, give it some time and it will start right up again (mine has) and also remember to let your body do it's thing and adjust. Don't be hard on yourself either. As long as you are following doctor's orders you will lose weight. You will NOT be the first person this doesn't work for, so don't let yourself think that. Think positive and stay away from the scale (try weekly instead of daily because weight flucatutations are normal even for non-WLS people) and you will be fine. Good luck!

Mom had her surgery on the 13th and she is all freaking out because she hasnt lost in 5 days. She thinks its because she started her period and shes bloated but I told her that this happens a few weeks after you have the surgery, but she still doesnt believe me. hahaha..
